Any of the other top 4 i trade siakam for them tho

He will definitely take the most time to develop compared to the others in the top 5. Green, Cade, Suggs on the other hand feel like immediate impact guys (sorta like Lamelo this year).

to be fair to kuminga, he does remind me of a smaller lebron with a broken jump shot. crazy to even say lebron but the way he operates is really similar

And keep our pick.
Suppose a developed player will get additional picks, a straight top 3 for Siakam maybe not enough.

Do we know Kuminga's hand size? I remember in 2011 when Raps were working out Kawhi. He was considered a defensive savant, but couldn't shoot.

I generally trust Masai, Bobby and Dan to make the right call. I agreed with their decision to draft Poeltl over Sabonis, but bigs are hard to predict. I'm pretty sure this will be a good sized wing (or Cade if available). I just wish Suggs was a little bigger.

The rockets have a tough schedule ahead but it would be nice if they could start winning a bit. OKC has a pick swap with them so realistically their tank shouldn’t be as important

Cade is locked at #1
But I think I'm gonna stick with Green at #2
Mobley is great but I don't wanna fall into the idea of need over talent. And Green is an extremely talented scorer something we don't have. Compared to Edwards Green did everything he did in college with even more efficiency and creativity, only thing Ant had over him was size and length so seeing Edwards actually do well for the wolves lately just makes his chances look even better.

I think if we draft Kuminga the best course of action would be to trade Siakam because Kuminga provides a lot of what siakam provides and it would become redundant.

Regardless I hope we draft BPA and worry about moves that need to be made afterwards. We need to hit on this pick since we don’t want to be back in the lottery again soon

Based on this game I see Evan Mobley being Deandre Ayton at best. What's the deal with his brother? He looks like he is more NBA ready than E. Mobley.

Suggs looked good.

For me I would prefer option A, and play Kuminga at the 2 like Jaylen Brown.

It's not ideal from a shooting perspective and would put pressure on either Kuminga, Pascal, or both to be improve their distance shooting, but this lineup would give us an elite defensive unit that can match up with anyone (especially if we add a stretch 5 center who can protect the rim and rebound).

Kuminga imo can play the 2 or 3 like Jaylen Brown and switch 1 through 4 on defense. OG can switch 1 through 5. Pascal 2 through 4, and Vanvleet 1 and 2.

Just play a big lineup like OKC did. Height at every position. Spread the rebounding duty around. At least the top 6 including Jalen Johnson are all 6'4 and taller. Barnes doesn't rebound at 6'9 at the college level so don't see him getting better at it at the pro level.

Mobley is a lot better with the ball than Ayton. He was also the only guy that could initiate anything offensively for USC. There's a reason they had him come out to the top of the key to get the ball all game. No one else could do anything.

His brother was probably the worst defender on the court, but was able to capitalize a little when Evan was doubled.

I fully expect Silver to hand the Raps the #1 spot, or at least a top 5 pick. But just in case, what are the best options 6-10? Here are some possibilities based on the latest Fansided mock.

Franz Wagner- forward
Scottie Barnes - forward
Keon Johnon - wing
Jalen Johnson - forward
Jaden Springer - guard

Honourable mention:
James Bouknight - scoring guard
Moses Moody - 6' 8" skinny wing who can really shoot (nbadraft has Raps taking him at #7)
Corey Kispert - SF (hard no)
Ziaire Williams - SF
Kai Jones - athletic C - but skinny, not a rebounder, not a playmaker

How would any of you rank these guys? Honestly, Moody is the only one out of the top 5 who excites me. Given that OG can defend the 2, I'd like to just go big. Disclaimer - I wouldn't be at all disappointed if Raps ended up with Suggs.

I wasn't impressed with Isaiah Mobley vs Gonzaga. In fact, his performance soured me quite a bit. Check out 0:43 and 1:53 in the video you posted for some of the worst transition defence you'll ever see. And there were plenty more instances of his languid effort defending in the halfcourt as well e.g. Kispert blows by him easily at 5:35. It was a Bargs-esque performance.

If anything you put OG at the 2 since he's the best shooter of the group. JK at the SF spot and PS at the 4. This forces OG to develop an adequate handle to be able to get to wing. He'll be able to put more guards in the post and operate out of there for a little.

I think Mobley is closer to KAT than Ayton.

I would say no to Scottie Barnes inside the top 20.

No Moody, yes Bouknight. Kispert is Wally Szczerbiak.

Probably gamble on Kai Jones. If want safe to help the team win but not be star, then Franz Wagner.

At #6 I'd go Jalen Johnson or closer to #10 Kai Jones (like the Bulls reaching for Williams at #4). If got the #7 pick I'd trade down for an extra asset, maybe send a 2nd pick to improve on that slot.

A bit worry about the defense of Kispert and Wagner, may not be a plus defender, so I am unsure Nurse will draft them.
Meanwhile, the last game I watched on Moody, he didn't impress me on offense, jump shot after jump shot:
