Man, Gobert is such a difference maker defensively

Don't think the Jazz have shot this bad all year. Wow. Lucky to only be down 8

Maybe I'm too hard on that team. They're ahead, against a great team, but they're missing some easy shots. Plus Luka has had many bonehead plays. His game is weirdly off.

At least Richardson is playing great.

Melli, Richardson, and DFS were fantastic in the 1st half.

Luka had a couple sloppy plays, but i bet he comes out hot in the 2nd half.

If we can somehow escape with a win against a hot team like Utah without KP, that would be massive

DFS had 8 open 3pt shots and made only 2. He has to be better. Averages will balance out a bit, but if this defense holds in the 2nd half against the versatile Jazz team, then Mavs can hang with anyone in the playoffs.

Gobert killed any attempt to drive, Ithink the only layup was DFS tough layup over him. I haven't seen Luka this intimidated in the paint all year.

It's just impossible to drive against Gobert. If there is any game for shooting mostly 3s, is this.

Melli is extremely active, but it seems to me like he got scored on a lot. So I'm still not convinced about his defense.

He made two nice plays to score against Gobert, one where he missed the layup and the other where he missed a "floater". He got in a good position to score, but still missed. Gobert doesn't give many "easy shots".

I really didn't like at the end of the 2nd when he tried to put up a shot against Gobert just standing in front of him... of course he got blocked. He should have known better.

Gobert is clearly effecting him.

Last 4 including this one.

The ones in which he's been -2 in a +5 win, -7 in a +13 win and +14 in a +22 win, plus this one.

8, 5, 4 and 4 TOs so far...

Maybe you should check his % too. Anyway he was named player of the week for 3 of those 4 games you're talking about. He's and will always be high TO player, like are more or less all high usage players.

Yeah he's been sluggish the last few games but I think he's fine in this one.

But yeah he needs to rein in those TOs.

I can't figure out who had a higher confidence shooting the ball over their career, Jordan or THJ
