He so casually made an absolutely perfectly located pass.
At the end of the day, it's not about wins and losses. Teamwork, fair play, and good sportsmanship make champions of us all.

I said, I don't think them going 9-16 in their last 25 was all that unrealistic. You countered with trashing my prediction calling me a "Pistons worrier or whatever the ****" and then countered with the 3-22 prediction as ridiculous as that was.

I made that prediction after they beat the sorry Rockets. I also said 3 or 4 more wins, and two of those wins being against the Thunder and one against the Magic. Now when they beat some teams their not supposed to beat, or some playoff teams during this run, than come beat your chest!

With how easily Hayes rebounds the ball he could eventually turn into a triple double machine.

Hayes has been pretty good on offense. His defense has been bad but I wonder if it’s a product of coming back.

Yeah it's a weird universe where Pokousevski (literally not NBA ready) is getting minutes and Sekou is basically exiled

I’m with you on the logic but if Sekou isn’t doing the right things in practice or showing the right effort or comprehending what’s asked of him, it’s a bad precedent to just gift him minutes.

Sure, and I am in no way against that merit based distribution of minutes

But at the same time, you can't replicate in game minutes no matter how "realistic" practices are. I prefer baptism by fire type approaches. I'm sure if Weaver really wanted to, he could easily have intervened to let Casey play him more, which he hasn't yet, which is fairly telling as well in terms of where Sekou's at

Enough is enough with this ridiculous premise. How much organized team sports have you played? It is NOT the playing time in actual games that make a player good or bad. They may learn how to handle a particular in-game situation better because it's difficult to simulate in practice, but it's not the minutes played in games that make a player make better passes, jump higher or shoot better. It's the hours and hours and hours and hours of practice practice practice and repetition. Does Sekou look better tonight than he has? Sure...against garbage competition. And that's not to say that I'm down on Sekou, don't think he can be a good player or don't hope that he'll be a good player. But he's looked like garbage recently and on every team in every sport if you play like garbage you get yanked, period. And when you stop playing like garbage in the minutes you get, you get more minutes. I doubt this idea of "If he just got more minutes he'd play better/develop faster" is supported by anyone who ever played team sports, me included.

We need to give this kid a chance, he’s still only 19.

Way too much is going to be read from this game.

There have been many all star games where better defense has been played than what okc showed tonight.

I didn't notice OKC played any defense, truth be told. That said, you can't be so tank-happy that when you start three rookies and all your young players do well to not win one now and then.

I thought he actually looked really good on defense. Maybe I'm tripping.

His conditioning isnt there yet, so he got a few times but his hands were very active! Kid can wreak havoc with how quick his hands are.

It’s nice to see Sekou out for a good run some of minutes and not crap the bed. And it was good to see Killian score some baskets in a variety of ways. Makes up for the win, it’s getting tougher for us to make up the difference with Minny and Houston and we are closer to Cleveland than is safe. Least we will lose a lot on this Western Swing.
