I am thrilled when the Knicks force the ball down to Randle down the stretch... He telegraphs all his moves...

To be frank. Harden can sit as long as he needs. Without him we not winning chip. Y'all can say KD this and that, he ain't Harden. Guy is a monster.

Take your time and get healthy MVP.

Knicks are stupid to make randle their go to finisher. RJ Barrett and bullock really would have been better options lol. I did think that Nash needed to manage the game a little better in the fourth. When the Knicks started to come back and the nets were missing shots he should have called a time out. They looked tired. A little rest and it might have been different.

Can’t wait to here all the Knicks fans rejoice in how great they played and how they almost beat the nets again. Lol. Our d league player kicked their butts.

Need Harden to take a nice long break. Probably come back with 10 games left to build some chemistry. We will be more than fine with Kyrie and KD.

Although that Harden injury was the worst possible outcome gotta love watching this team play. This team got some strong self belief and got each other's backs out there.

Nets are usually very conservative with injuries, so this is a bit strange.

I wonder if Harden truly thought he was ready to go or if he was trying to rush to get back in the MVP race.

Either way, you’d think he has to be shut down for at least 2 weeks.

Harden said it himself, he's a baller. Sometimes you have to protect players from themselves. See what can happen.

What a gutsy performance. Knicks played REALLY well in the first half. I was sure we were getting blown out. This team just refuses to give up. Big props to the players and the coaching staff. We held them to 45 in the 2nd half. One of Prok's legit criticisms of Nash this year was not going offense-defense when it called for it. He did that today and it worked really well.

Kyrie was amazing but I have to give it up for Alize Johnson. Dude was everywhere. Perfect guy for nights like this. His motor is legit. Him + Claxton + Green were a terror together. We don't win this game if Chiozza, Johnson, and Claxton don't bring their energy tonight. Love it.

I saw a quote from Nash earlier today, basically saying that there's a chance of re-injury, but if Harden did re-tweak is not for a lack of caution. I thought that approach was out of character for our medical staff. Maybe James lobbied to go even if he wasn't 100%, maybe nobody could have predicted it. Right now, he needs a long layoff.

We did call a timeout with I think a bit over 4 minutes left. We missed 3 wide open consecutive looks from 3 (Kyrie, and Jeff Green twice). I don't think that was fatigue, those were just misses. Knicks defense started causing problems when they started doubling Kyrie hard at mid court.

Let me tell you something, it's a good thing Kyrie grew up around here and truly understands the rivalry. This is NOT just another basketball game to Kyrie, and he KNOWS it's not just another game for Nets fans, and he was absolutely determined to win this game. If he didn't take his intensity to another level, with the contributions from the rest of the team, ALZIE INCLUDED, but despite all that, with KD and Harden both out, there's NO WAY we win this game if it wasn't as personal to Kyrie as it is to the rest of us, cause he LIVED IT too.

BTW Alzie deserves a full season contract.

That's good news, but I also agree the Nets are normally extra cautious with injuries and after what happened tonight, no matter how good he feels and how clean his MRI's are, I don't expect to see Harden again for about two weeks. I totally agree that 2 weeks sounds about right, assuming EVERYTHING goes well.
