Coby White out for Covid Protocol

Even if you dont like his pg play, we are going to miss his scoring punch. It will be interesting to see who Billy relies on for scoring.

I assume he misses about 7-8 games based on the normal protocol unless he had the vaccine.

Hopefully coby can learn to look around while he's on the bench.

But seriously hopefully it's not a symptomatic infection. We don't need him to have another set back

It really depends on why he's on the protocol. Did he test positive or was he in close contact with someone that tested positive? It takes 2-3 days before the virus multiplies enough to begin shedding so if he was around someone else that tested positive, he has to wait a few days before he can get an accurate test himself.

I don't know the NBA protocol, but its necessary to receive multiple negative tests spaced 24-hours apart to be on the safe side.

While he's out for however long he should be watching the games to see where he can fit in better with Vuc, Theis and brown when he comes back. Take a look at how they get to the spots on the floor where they can make plays and how he can move without the ball to get in position to get a pass from them.

It would be easier to take Coby being out if Temple was healthy and could play. Nowhere near the same game but te veteran presence to take some of the minutes in the back court.

If this is a long absence, it really could be the nail in Coby's season. It's already been a while since he had a real quality game, he lost his spot in the starting lineup, and if we play well with Troy Brown or Denzel then his minutes to close out the season could be in jeopardy.
