Re: Who comes out of the East?
The nets have a high probably of making the finals but I'm also highly aware that there is a huge implosion potential mixing these personalities with adversity.
I voted Nets, but don't be surprised to see the sixers or bucks make it out.

Re: Who comes out of the East?
I got a feeling Giannis is holding back this year and going to unleash himself in the playoffs. Bucks going under the radar. They are just exactly the type of team that suddenly makes the finals (like miami last year or Toronto the year before) I got the Bucks upsetting the nets and winning the east.

Re: Who comes out of the East?
Why is Boston an option? They may not even make the playoffs.
If the Nets are healthy I don't think any team can outscore them. Embiid or Giannis could average 40 a game and their teams would still lose to the Nets 140-120.

I still have the bucks coming out of the East, nothing I have seen changes my mind that I am wrong.

I said Nets, if the big 3 are healthy.
Philly if the Nets aren't healthy.
We signed someone who averaged 10 rebounds. Never say never just yet.

Nets or Sixers.
I really don't have much faith in Giannis to beat either team if it comes down to him vs their stars.

Seeding is going to be extremely important in the East. I think Philly can beat Milwaukee. I think Milwaukee can beat the Nets. I don't think Philly can beat the Nets. I think the #1 seed is a must for Philly if they want to get to the Finals.

Overwhelming pick of Nets!!
I think they are building a dynasty but not this year. Too many new parts. Too many injuries. Not enough chemistry. Not enough role players.
I think they flame out big time in 1st or 2nd round.
76ers, Bucks look dangerous. I want to see the Bucks in the finals as that FO, right or wrong, just threw a ton of money and went “all-in”. You cannot count out the Heats with Butler. But if I were a betting man, I would say 76ers.

Re: Who comes out of the East?
Just a gut feeling, but I suspect this is the year the Bucks finally get the monkey off their back. Nets and Sixers are definitely capable of beating them but I think this is the year the stars align and Milwaukee's role players make teams pay for building a wall to stop Giannis.

Re: Who comes out of the East?
If I were looking at it from an unbiased view, I’m going with the Bucks.
Sixers
- They still have the Ben Simmons problem
- Tobias Harris as your only volume perimeter threat ain’t outgunning anybody in a series, especially not Harden, Durant & Irving.
- Embiid is a matchup problem but is really their only advantage in any given series
Nets
- Not enough continuity
- Guys in & out of the lineup
- Little chemistry
- Their “role players” aren’t real role players & most likely won’t do any of the dirty work
- Will likely resort to ISO offense when the going gets tough. Whether it actually works or not will be the key
Heat
- Well balanced roster but will likely have to sacrifice shooting to bring in their most talented lineups
- If Bam gets in foul trouble, they have zero bigs/rim protection
Celtics
- No

This Nets team is comically stacked.
This is ridiculous. All I can do is sit back and laugh at this point. Its over for the rest of the league, im glad the delusion is starting to fade.

I think there's a high chance he's taking it easy in the regular season (the rest of his team as well) to save himself for the real games. He's experienced enough to know that now.
I think they could very well give the Nets a tough series. It's just hard for me to see all of the Nets' main trio having enough off games at once to lose 4 times. Plus their supporting cast is pretty decent now, as well. Maybe when the playoffs roll around, Blake starts looking hobbled again all of a sudden or Aldridge starts looking old again, but I'm sure the Nets aren't going to run those guys into the ground.
If the Big 3 are injured or the supporting cast (it's either old/hobbled or inexperienced) are made to look like liabilities, I suppose there's a chance. A lot of things would need to line up to beat a team like that 4 times.
Brian Geltzeiler: You see Mark Jackson getting a head coaching job as early as next year?
Adrian Wojnarowski: Not if people make calls on him. Not if an organization is doing their homework and knows all the things he brings with him.

Re: Who comes out of the East?
only way the Nets lose is if they shoot themselves in the foot or get unlucky with injuries, coming from a HUGE Bucks fans.
it's possible that egos start to flare between Durant, Harden, and Kyrie.... but since they're like spoiled kids who have gotten literally everything they could want I think they know it would be detrimental to their image for them to act out at this point

I'd pay a lot of money to see a Nets-Sixers ECF so I'm just hoping the standings hold.

If the nets are healthy no one in the east is beating them in a 7 game series.
