In hindsight, we should have kept Fiz. We could have Melo and another top four pick this year.

this team needs a real engine and brain out there to really run this offense. Payton is garbage and plays meeball. Rose doesn't have the mindset or inclination to be more than a scorer. Quickly doesn't have any pg instincts (seemingly). I don't like what I'm seeing on the floor, including the last few wins.

smh, at last year's all-rookie teams. who makes these lists?

The snubs RJ gets is beyond ridiculous. He's the second best player on that list.

Thibs is turning into the Tank Commander right before our very eyes. Not sure if I'm pissed or feeling good about it....

I've been all about playoffs this year but F it. We need more talent. Time to tank - get a late lottery pick - package it with our Mavs pick - move up in the draft - grab Suggs or Cunningham.

Looking at the schedule remaining.. the only games I can for sure say this team wins is maybe that one coming up against a depleted lakers team and maybe one of the raptors matchups even tho the raps seem to have our number no matter what in recent years.. I think I’m on board team tank..

Regardless of what happens the rest of the year...the progress of RJ has made this year worth it.

45% from the field
38% from 3 on solid volume
73.5% from the line

that improves his TS% in one year from 47.9% to 53.3%....what an improvement in one season! Thats more important then any wins this year.

*and all this is with his horrendous start to the season. Otherwise he would be shooting well over 40% from 3 for the entire year if he didn't have that odd 0-21 stretch in the first month.

I think its safe to say RJ can be at or near 40% from 3...and he's just 20 years old...that is enormous strides! Keeping work young buck!

that's a HUGE improvement....and he's only 20

but no....tanking doesn't work.....only landed us RJ :dontknow:

I know he’s Voldemort around these parts the last time we tanked before that we landed another good player

Also happens to be the last time we committed to draft picks more than 1 season

yep, when they've legit tanked they got RJ and KP, the 2 best players the Knicks have drafted probably since Ewing

when they are a treadmill team that makes a failed playoff attempt, we wind up w/ Frank, Knox, Obi

clearly, one strategy has worked better for the Knicks

no you are wrong. winning with one year vets is the hot ****. culture baby.

this offseason, Kings offer their 2021 1st (currently #10) for Julius Randle.....do you take it?

I'm a bit torn. I do like Julius now that he's a much improved (and now a +) 3PT shooter, and he's still young (26)

on the other hand, could be an opportunity to sell high and arguably it's better to give RJ the keys and surround him with a shooting (getting a true stretch-4 b/c even tho Julius a good 3PT now, he's still ball-dominant)

I mean.. I'd rather package our picks with something to move up in the draft. Thibs won't play the 10th pick anyway.

Flashing a mid range game too. 60% on pull-up jumpers and 100% on pull-up 3's over that stretch.

yeah the navigating the screen in the clutch to turn and nail a 20 footer pull up might have been the most impressive because that shot is what teams give up late in games and to be able to create that look shows great improvement.

The shot looked beautiful. He has been developing a really nice flow to his game. Very crafty.

I don't see any team in the top 5 moving out of their pick this year, unfortunately

Ahhh thats the "Big 15" Randle and Bullock were talking about

RJ played great. Really finding a rhythm with his catch and shoot game. Crazy to imagine what he could do with even starter quality PG play consistently

I like Randle but his bad game are atrocious. He must still be aching from that hip injury cuz he looks off. Fatigue from all them minutes aint helping either tho smh. Why force it if RJ has the hot hand? He and Rose did find RJ a goo amount but man let the kid cook if hes on man damn.

Randle and the Mavs 1 to move up for Cade or Suggs? who says no? lol
