Did Jokic enter his prime or can he improve even more ?

Jokic is 26, has one WCSF and WCF in the last two seasons, with this season being the favorite to win the MVP. Is he currently in his prime or can he be even better ?

With his style of play and lack of explosivness, which is good for his body(last missed game in 2017) I believe he can be easily an all/star until 35.

He does take up his game in POs, I am waiting to see this year, as this is first year Nuggets are considered as a team that could do some damage in the POs, last two even with nice record, they were considered as overperforming team so it was easier for him to put it in a higher gear I guess. Even staying at RS lvl would be crazy, but lets see what he has planed for us this year

He's currently in his prime but haven't peaked yet, maybe he'll peak at the age of 28-30.

He's quicker this year. If he keeps shredding fat, I can see him being even better, especially on defense, in 2-3 years.

I'm confused by the question because I'm pretty sure this is the same OP who a month ago declared that the garbage Nuggets had wasted Jokic's prime.

Yeah of course he will keep improving. He's only 26, and regardless of age all the great players in the league keep adding new tricks to their bag throughout their career. That's what makes them great.

Physically, probably not much more. Mentally, I think he can become a lot more aggressive - he's certainly shown that over his career arc.

Jokic still has room to improve physically. Its been reported tha he became a workout junky an never misses out on training.
He could become better lateraly and vertically witch could enable him to be a better defender and even more dangerous when attacking the rim.

Skill wise he can get better at creating from the dribble and drawing fouls, as well as protecting the rim.

I think we stll havent seen the best of Jokic.

This is the start of his prime.

What I really want to see is what his BBIQ looks like when he is in his 'wily old man' phase. It is hard to imagine there is any area to improve mentally. He sees everything.

He is clearly in his prime, what is less clear is whether he is at or near his peak - that can only really be determined with hindsight. Certainly he is playing at an extremely high level by historical standards.

He can get better as he gets used to having less help defensively(Plumlee) and offensively(Grant)

Offensively I think he's near his peak but he can improve greatly on defense. If he could become a net positive defender, he could become a perennial MVP candidate

I'm not sure if he's kicked his habit of committing frustration fouls, but if he hasn't, he can improve on that.

We had fit and full conditioned Jokic/Embiid
Even though Embiid missed games

Both are scary news to the whole league. Embiid is prime Dirk in the mid range right now lol

Jokic has to improve his rim protection it’s sub par definitely. Outside of that his game is flawless offensively. He’s a savant on that end

All we need now is a Giannis jumpshot and if Doncic gets on a high lvl running program. If he comes back next season slimmed down and ready to go he might be the scariest one out of the four because he’s still a youngster.

Yeesh the international takeover is real

All four are legitimate MVP contenders in their prime

2 to Giannis
High chance for one in Jokic

Now for Embiid/Doncic.

Certainly. You can always improve. However he already leads the league in touches. So any improvement is skill/IQ based. Personally I think his scoring is in between passing opportunities. I’m not sure his go to ability is what his PPG suggest. So there’s that. But nevertheless if this is his level from here on out it’s MVP level racking up the highest tier accolades.
