Yes, there is something wrong about what Conforto did. It's against the rules for one thing. Also, not getting out of the way, that's bad enough, but to allow a batter to stick out an arm or leg with the intention of getting hit is against the rules. But then to allow a game to be decided by that one play is horrendous umpiring. You could tell that Gary, Ron, and Keith didn't like it as well. But like with everything else in baseball, if you can get away with it, then it's cool. All is fair in love, war, and baseball.
