I’m not a fan of this approach for Bam. Instead of trying to expand his shooting range, imo, he needs to develop into a more polished paint scorer. I’d like to see him improve his footwork to incorporate more euro-steps and spin moves a’ la Giannis. And a simple drop step baby hook addition to his back to the basket game could potentially add 2-4 points to his scoring average.
Disagree, I'd my rather Bam as the stretch 4 that's can mix it up inside next to someone like Nerlens Noel, than have him at the 5 and we're left with SF playing PF. I just don't believe we can handle the front courts with guys like Embiid, AD, Jokic etc with Bam at the 5

Who says he had any say in it at all? I'd expect the organization is taking all the precautions they can to make sure Oladipo is good to go and that means monitoring him and testing him in Miami for the next week or so if it was just a minor issue. Oladipo may be Miami's best chance of adding/keeping high level talent with Miami and with that, you want to take the long term approach with him. Not only that, but why wouldn't the organization be cautious with Oladipo when Nunn is available to them?

I hope he catches up to speed quickly cause I think he can really help us out in the front court with his size. If Dedmon can protect the paint, grab some boards, and hit a few 3's it will help this team tremendously. Belly does not look like he can handle the center spot. Dedmon can come in and play a key role here.
