Yeah, the Lakers even without Lebron & Davis are no pushovers.

They have quality veterans on their roster. They are not full of scrub role players like Boston or Wizards.

This to me pretty much signifies that he's out for the season. It's the nail in the coffin.

Oladip out for the season, damn. Sucks for Oladipo but in the end I think the Heat dodge a massive bullet. Feels like Riley was itching to hand him a massive contract. Now Oladip finds himself in that Cousins area, should’ve taken the offers that were there.

The alternative of Lowry on a near max isn’t much better. We honestly have one chance to salvage a title run and that’s if Kawhi leaves clippers and comes here. We need him or minimum level talent of a Beal. Other than that, treadmill city

I’m not a fan of this approach for Bam. Instead of trying to expand his shooting range, imo, he needs to develop into a more polished paint scorer. I’d like to see him improve his footwork to incorporate more euro-steps and spin moves a’ la Giannis. And a simple drop step baby hook addition to his back to the basket game could potentially add 2-4 points to his scoring average.

Disagree, I'd my rather Bam as the stretch 4 that's can mix it up inside next to someone like Nerlens Noel, than have him at the 5 and we're left with SF playing PF. I just don't believe we can handle the front courts with guys like Embiid, AD, Jokic etc with Bam at the 5
It doesn't matter if he shoots a three he needs to be more aggressive. 12.8 attemps not enough rather he shoots a three or not. Bam needs to be at 15.

Treadmill teams are teams that hover around 10th and 16th pick of the draft. That is not the Heat. The Heat are nowhere near a treadmill team, thats disrespectful as hell

WTF does this update even mean? It could just as easily be that the MRI came back clean and the Heat want him to suit up today, but Oladipo wants to be careful in a contract year and wants to meet with an independent specialist!!

Fair to say that update doesn’t sound very promising.

Sounds like Dipo wants to be 100% sure thats he's okay. He's going to be cautious so he doesn't end his career by being less than thorough. With recovery from a major injury, then a non contact injury, it makes sense to play it safe.

Vic might have to settle for a 1 year “prove it” deal whether with Mia or another team next season.

Scenario feels kinda like what happened to I.T. and Boogie after they entered free agency coming off of their injuries.

Who says he had any say in it at all? I'd expect the organization is taking all the precautions they can to make sure Oladipo is good to go and that means monitoring him and testing him in Miami for the next week or so if it was just a minor issue. Oladipo may be Miami's best chance of adding/keeping high level talent with Miami and with that, you want to take the long term approach with him. Not only that, but why wouldn't the organization be cautious with Oladipo when Nunn is available to them?
if he had no choice in the matter then ... Pat wtff are you doing??? He is no longer a kid, he is a pro needs to be a least near the action and establish some relationships with his new partners

He's a pro that just pulled himself out of a game on a team he's wanted to play for for years because of pain in his knee. I don't really see anything wrong with having him sit out some games and let Miami's doctors monitor his knee for a few days if there's nothing structurally wrong with it. The worst thing would be putting him out there, having him overcompensate over his possible pain and injury his other knee.

I am sorry if he cant prove to stay healthy this year, the Heat do not have time to deal with two point guards who can't be physically be trusted. Its too much of a problem to deal with Dragic, doubling that problem is not the way to go regardless of his contract. Do not have time for this. If Dipo is not ready this season move on to Lowry, resign Nunn and let Dipo go, Heat will have to make a tough decision on Dragic.

Ethan just stated that MRI didn't show any NEW injury however Dipo is still having pain in his knee.

From personal experience MRI do not reveal everything. An injury can be blocked from view in an MRI. Sometimes they need to go inside and look.

Not getting a significant answer can be worse than finding a new injury. Because you can't fix something you do not know.

Dedmon looks like a behemoth next to Bam  I hope he catches up to speed quickly cause I think he can really help us out in the front court with his size. If Dedmon can protect the paint, grab some boards, and hit a few 3's it will help this team tremendously. Belly does not look like he can handle the center spot. Dedmon can come in and play a key role here. Come to think of it when both Dedmon and Belly played in Sacramento it was Belly that played the 4 next to him.
