But I thought getting rid of that stupid bald clown's gimmick defense for some REAL defense was working wonders?

I'm sure Boylen's defense would've been even better this year after another off-season of virtually passing the wrestling belt. With Thad retiring early, Dunn out. What was the long-term outlook? Playing impressive blue-collar defense with G-Leaguers while bricking our way to a tank-job?

We have found our Point Guard of the Future.

The New Orleans Pelicans do not have immediate plans to sign Isaiah Thomas to a second 10-day contract. Thomas played in three games with New Orleans, averaging 7.7 points.

Thomas could be signed at a later date.

New Orleans has two weeks before it needs to add another player to the roster.

That Doncic shot from his knees for the win was so damn great.

I have a sore spot for Grayson Allen, the most face-punchable little turd and dirty player I've ever seen come out of Duke, so seeing him miss those two shots, then Luka hitting a hilariously impossible shot was so damn cathartic.

Thibs played DRose for 28 minutes, Taj for 35 minutes on a 10 point win over Pelicans. Rookie Immanuel Quickley played 11 minutes.

Classic Thibs. :D

Hey, some coaches play to win and some give 30mpg to timid rookies who give you nothing.

Thibs played Taj more last night than he did back when Taj was both younger and much better. If that's not classic Thibs, I don't know what is. But then again, the team won. That is also classic Thibs.

Aldridge had a good career. Wish he was a Bull.

Hopefully now he can relax with his treatments and enjoy his family.

Absolutely crazy that LaMarcus Aldridge joins Greg Oden and Brandon Roy as players who were forced to end their careers before they wanted to (even though LMA was much closer to retirement age-wise, obviously). That Blazers squad was - and apparently still is - cursed.

The 3 of them only played 62 games together. They won 50.

Not to mention they had a young Batum and Rudy (who was a great player but could never get comfortable in the States), and a slew of well-perceived young assets (Webster, Outlaw, etc.).

But a lot of teams get in these situations. I keep looking at our neighbors in Indy - they've had a year-to-year high and low with every single star they've picked up. Granger and George would've been a phenomenal combo IMO, but Granger was basically done before PG hit his prime. Once PG hit his prime, he had the nastiest leg break I've ever witnessed on live television. Then they strike gold with Oladipo on the desperation trade, and at the peak of his game, he needs season-ending surgery and becomes a shell of his self. Then TJ Warren appears to hit a career-peak, and now he's out for the season. And Brogdon and Sabonis have had their set-backs the past seasons.

Granted, none of these guys were on Rose, Penny or Grant Hill's level (young MVP-calibers cut short), but nevertheless, they were legitimate two-way stars. A healthy Granger with a developed George in 2014-15 would've been pretty interesting. They played Miami a bit better than we did (in 11) for 3 years in a row, with Granger out the 2 latter years.

The Raptors keep resting key players, Lowry and OG won’t play tonight. It would be hilarious and sad at the same time if the rest of the East sucked so bad that Raptors are forced to play the play-in.

Someone just needs to put us out of our misery.

The old Bulls are plaiyng well. Gafford 18pts 7rebs 4blks in a win off the bench. Wendell still playing well with 20/9

Oh and the Bulls future saviour Lonzo Ball had 4pts 3asts 2-10 fg

You just know that Lauri will look fine once he leaves the Bulls. It's inevitable.

Sign him, he's perfect for us.

Might as well. The Bulls connection, plus also of the two NYC teams they are by far the most likeable. Last year Miami was my playoff team. This year it will be the Knicks. Not of course that they could make the Finals, but maybe steal a series ...

Former Bull Mo Wagner is now available! Looks like former Bull Jabari Parker took his spot.

Return to Chicago Bulls
