Every since the cancer JJ as gotten minutes this team as fall apart, I am not sure why he get automatic put in rotation over guys like Hardaway or Burke.

Every time an on old vet that fits into what RC like he get minutes and it just destroys the team .

Mavs need to waive JJ now

Unfortunately you’re right. No coach is getting fired this late in the season... no way he should still be employed by next season though

Well, last year Luka was able to get to the spot he wanted to on a constant basis and manipulate the defense. I guess the guys around are forgetting that he took 20 pounds during the summer and never quite lost it.

This team is a 6-8 seed nothing more nothing less.

Complete lack of energy is something that happens with teams of this caliber. Just have to hope they don't piss themselves in free agency again.

Barnes would still be the third best player on this team, letting him go was just an mistake have yet to replace him.

Well, Cuban regretted not firing Avery sooner. Is he really going to watch the inevitable play in exit? I think he'll react.

JJ is the least of Mavs problems. There has to be something going on in the locker room. And Luka being so out of shape and not able to get through the season without a big drop in performance after 55 games is also not great. This has been happening to him for years at this point. Last year he got bailed out by Covid and had 6 months off but this year he is back to his old ways. And they cant really rest him this year if they want to get in the PO. I think this team is basically done for the season. Without Luka playing at an MVP level, they have no chance of advancing out of the 1st round even if they get there which I am not that sure of anymore.

I'm just betting on it. I don't say it is smart. Kidd is in line for the job IMO, if the Lakers let him go. Of course if Dirk wants it... He could be interim.

I think the only way RC gets fired is if the team completely falls apart and Luka demans a new coach. Otherwise I think they keep him for at least 1 more season.

Riddick is a huge problem he as played awful but gets minutes with out earning them and he is beyond awful on D . Played almost the whole 4th the other night cost the game and was in when KIngs went on huge run. He is the type of guy RC loves and will play him just because.
