Come on Luka... getting a technical in that situation. I don't even think he was fouled too. That's just dumb.

And now they have had 6 subpar games in the last 7 games. I wad incredibly hyped, it looked like they could upset a team in the first round, they were on fire... And now that. Even if they wake up and win this one, it's still not a good game.

I would say that it could be a good idea to sit Luka for a week, but I'm scared that he's going to take 5 more pounds.

Two things have happened:

1) Bad coaching. Bad defensive game plans. Bad rotations. Bad adjustments. Bad coaching all around.

2) Rhythm disruption because of Porzingis. He jumps in and out of the line up and it has seriously screwed with chemistry. Honestly, I think the team might be better when he doesn’t play because of his inconsistency.

It doesn't explain why they were one of the best team in the league for over a month (with Luka).

Rick files under the bad coaching bullet point. I am fine with the team moving on from him. The funny thing is that if Houston’s coach would have stuck around he probably would have been given the job and Houston is a mess. He would have been better off staying in Dallas in the long run.

If only the team could get stops, we could have seen a come back. You can't come back if the other team scores on pretty much every possession.

Luka playing better defense under the rim than Dwight and KP combined is kinda embarrasing for those two.

Damaged goods. Powell had an awful injury and lost a lot of his athleticism. Porzingis hasn’t looked good since coming back.

Yep true, but at this point, those are just excuses unless we're ok that Rick is playing them down the stretch. I mean if their plan was to lose, i fully agree with you.

Rick lost to Luke Walton and Mavs ended Kings 9 game losing streak.

just terrible coaching for the past few weeks from RC.. i know us fans have broached this but WHO could be a good candidate to replace him?? should we start with a defensive coordinator to put RC on notice that if you dont improve this guy would take your job or do we start with head coach position right away?

Return to Dallas Mavericks
