How is that relevant? we know that's a fantasy trade.

You're asking if we should trade a young developing star that hasn't entered his prime yet for a superstar that is exiting his. I guess that depends on the context - what are the following moves? you better win big in the next 2 years if you're making that trade.

If we add Curry and lose Bam and Herro - are we winning the East? we'll have no front court at all.

It's relevant to my curiosity, just testing for sanity

You wouldn't trade Bam for Curry or Harden because we would lack a front court player? Or/and lose borderline/possible All-stars?

Does that sound sane? I don't know if it does but I'm biased cause I really like those players and I put a lot of value on Superstar talent.

I don't think our possibility of winning a championship with Bam/Herro are anywhere near the same or would be anywhere near as high than with Harden or Curry-- but maybe you're not judging this trade on the ability to win one championship?

What I'm saying is that context matters.

If We lose Bam and Herro and add Curry, what kind of a chance would you give us to win the East? 5%? 10%?

Is that chance high enough for us to give up 10 years of future Bam for 2 years of Curry?

If you're selling your future, you better make sure your present is golden.

Curry
Duncan
Jimmy
Ariza
Precious

I don't think this team is good enough for us to mortgage our future for. If you think we can make following moves to strengthen the team and truly contend, then it could be more appealing.

You can't look at a huge "Win now" move and not examine the overall context - are you really giving yourself a high chance to win.

To me the move to make is not to trade Bam or Jimmy but to trade everyone else and add a true 3'rd star, even if that star isn't on Curry's level.

That line-up would be ten times better than our current one and give us a much better chance to win

I wholeheartedly would take that team over

Nunn
Beal
Jimmy
Ariza
Bam

9 times out of ten.

You're not getting a third star that would give you as good of a chance to win than with a superstar like Curry/Harden. You have two more years of Jimmy-- at the very best, you'd only be keeping Bam/Herro at the detriment of that and some gamble that they'd be superstars. I don't get it
Long Live Winnie. Mamba siempre

Miami has to get this boy back on track. Can't have a distraction like him dragging the team down

Lol at distraction. He needs an off-season not affected by covid. That's it

What else is there to call it. Hard to play consistent ball when not everyone is fully committed

So a sponsorship means not committed? This "old school" stuff is going way too far.

Not sponsorship but celebrity status and distractions off the court. Miami can't be pissing away the last years of Jimmy's prime on a young man who may not be fully into it

Hopefully a story like this will get Tyler straightened out. I'm a fan but just disappointed in his play lately as is the team

I don’t buy any of this Tyler stuff, yes he’s been playing bad recently and has had his ups and downs all season. But to question his work ethic and celebrity status that has been built on sponsorships which is great for any athlete is bs to me. He’s young and the type of game he has is going to come with growing pains.

It's a load of BS. The media should put this crap out unless there's a name behind it. Is this coming from a team official or maybe its an opinion of someone whose not really involved with the training. How do we know this is not made up.
Only people who are involved in training really know the work Tyler is putting in. Maybe he's not putting in enough.

You shouldn't slander someone reputation or call someone out and hide behind the shadows. If you are gonna say something negative about someone put your name behind.

Not the biggest KD fan but I like how he calls out the media and this is stuff.

Amazing how the media pounces as soon as players start to have off games....yet a far diff narrative when they're playing well.

I ain't worried about Tyler, kid has fantastic work ethic. He's a work horse. He's also young & only his 2nd season in the league. He's in the right organization to continue to build character & maturity.

If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

Rumors about old-man Thon Maker have any traction on it?

Only 6 home games left. We're really going to redshirt UD.

Its still ridiculous for players to have to wear a mask while doing an interview with nobody around them...

Like people alone, w/ no body around, jogging w/ them on. Or wearing 1 alone in the car :o

Masks don't work altogether....that's what makes it even more ridiculous.
