He's young and I'm sure he can get better by continuous repetition. but that kind of stuff is either you have it or not. you have it in middle school, high school, and you certainly have it as a young NBA player. I don't think he has shooters touch in his DNA. let's be real here
In the past 10 years in the NBA all types of NBA players have taught themselves to shoot 3s at much better level, Brook Lopez was a monster just down low and in the last season in Brooklyn started working and taking 3s and is a solid 3pt shooter now. It takes the individual putting in the time of course and learning to shoot it the correct way either with a trainer or with technology based feedback like NOAH which a number of NBA teams have started using. At this point I would think every NBA team would have some type of shooting technology to give players feedback.
New York as a team shot .337 from 3pt range last year, this year .380.
J.Randle last year 28% from 3, 40% this year.
R.Bullock last year 40% from 3, 43% this year.
RJ Barrett last year 32% from 3 38% this year. The New York Knicks have become the latest NBA team to install Noah Basketball’s shot tracking system. Noah’s computer vision cameras were placed on six baskets at the MSG Training Center in Tarrytown, N.Y, making the Knicks the most equipped NBA team with Noah Basketball, according to the company.More than half of NBA teams use Noah, including the Portland Trail Blazers and Toronto Raptors. The WNBA’s Washington Mystics and hundreds of top high school and college basketball teams use Noah, including Virginia.

Thanks for the interesting info P
I've noticed that Knicks players shooting better this szn esp. RJ Barrett. Clippers are shooting 42% from 3 as a team and generally 3 point % is improving around the league EXCEPT FOR THE HEAT P
It has to be the technology and emphasis on 3 point shooting practices. I mean whenever we see players doing the court work they are just jacking up long balls
