Knicks are 17-7 when Rose plays (58 win pace)

3 losses @ Miami, @ Brooklyn and @ Boston were each by only 2pts too....

Hes been one of the biggest midseason acquisitions in the league. Great to see a former Mvp reinvent his game and still be a really good overall player that plays both ends even in a reduced role from his prime. Also overcame nasty false allegations from a bitter dusty ex which mustve taken a big toll on him off court

Hes been one of the best players in the league coming off the bench for years now and now were seeing him still have that impact on a playoff team pushing them to even further heights

Crazy to think that a few years ago he was so written off as finished that Utah straight up cut him after the Hood-Crowder trade.

I think all those many years when Rose would get injured and essentially miss entire seasons messed with his head. He doesn't want to be a starter because he knows it used to let his team down when he got injured. It also messed with the roster construction because his teams didn't have a backup PG that could adequately replace him. As a backup, he can play more freely knowing that an injury won't derail the team's chemistry.

Rose is exactly what the Knicks needs over other teams, being defensively orientated a nice scoring punch off the bench does the team real good. Great to see

I think they make it out of the first round and can upset someone in the 2nd. Rose is a big reason why. They are good enough and Randle and Barrett playing well enough that they don't need him to anything more than solid on both ends. But he still has the ability to have huge games. And if I'm in the east playoffs NY is a team I don't want to face if healthy. Dangerous team. Could be better in the playoffs given their defensive strengths. Versatile roster too.

He is still a very dangerous player in spurts. Im happy for him and im happy to see the Knicks relevent again
