I honestly don't believe that KP, like how he's playing at the moment, has any positive influence on winning. So this injury is not necessarily something bad. Mavs winning is strongly correlated with how Luka is shooting for 3 and that at least one of Brunson/THJ has a good game. WCS is better in D than KP and others can have similar % like he in offense.

I watch Drummond and Schroder play the way to impress the Mavs as potential FA target. I think both could be really good fit to the roster. As there's not much left in 2021 FA pool. I am interested in Drummond, Schroder and Ntilikina.

Can Mavs play Lakers for 82 games please? :D It's crazy how good can they perform against top teams and yet drop the ball against lower tier opponents. If they played the same most of the time, they would be fighting for the 3rd spot and not only 6th.

Without LeBron and with Davis being so limited, the Lakers that the Mavs faced were scrubs.

Yes, I'm afraid that we will see much better AD already on Saturday. Good news is that he's on time restriction on Saturday too.

Schroder for sure, Drummond not. Ntilikina only if he's almost for free.

Ntilikina has been in the league for four years and still can't shoot.

I guess he would be a cheap reclamation project. He had enough talent to be picked in the top 10. If you could get him to shot about 45%, he could make a good backup point guard. He plays defense and can pass. Maybe a zero pressure situation could help put him back on track.

Ntilikina may be the worst player in the NBA. Even for free he's not worth it

Now it sounds crazy, but in draft board some people believed that Luka and Ntilikina are similarly talented players, just because Ntilikina played well in youth competition.

He's wrong player for Mavs. Ok, if they get him for free and minimum, they can try. But knowing RC that won't work anyway.

Does this mean Tyrell Terry is also back? He's been out since he came back from G league.

I personally don't want another series against the Clippers. I would rather get the Nuggets or Suns. The Mavs are underdogs against all of them anyway and it would be more fun to get a new team. Plus the Clippers have been hot lately.

Anyway, it looks like the Clippers could well finish 2nd and the Suns 3rd. So getting that 6th seed would be nice if it's the case.

I don’t agree with running out the 24 second clock and shooting a 34 foot shot, but that Luka shot was great.
