UPDATE

Totally WINNABLE game VS a depleted Nets team was lost because of 1) HORRIBLE support for Tatum; 2) lack of consistent intensity; 3) 20 **** TOs yet **** again; & 4) garbage 3 point D.

We are 1 game behind the Knicks & the Hawks, 1 game ahead of the Heat, 2 1/2 games ahead of the Hornets & 4 games ahead of the Pacers.

Will JB or RW be back?
Will Fournier be able to step it up?

(Bucks 36-22)

Knicks 33-27
Hawks 33-27
CELTICS 32-28
Heat 31-29
Hornets 29-30
Pacers 27-31

Wizards 26-33
Raptors 25-34
Bulls 25-34

Good job keeping everybody updated with the standings and games.

At this point I'm not sure the standings is going to make that much of a difference honestly because at the end of the day, maybe besides Philly that has an outside chance, no one's going to beat the nets in the east.

Let’s see how we perform with hopefully a full roster as the season plays out.

6th seed is the ideal spot for the Celtics in my opinion. I’ll take any position that’s the 4th, 5th or 6th seed.

6th seed is a first round exit. I'm not sure how that's ideal

Agreed.

There's no chance whatsoever that Philly Brooklyn or Milwaukee lose in the first round. If a team finishes as the 6th 7th or 8th seed they're absolutely out in the first round.

I wish I could see this roster healthy but who tf knows if that'll ever happen. Even so, there's no excuse for these guys to play like utter trash. Add on the terrible roster in general and Danny has a lot of work to do in the off season if he wants to avoid the pitchforks from fans.

Oh, and ownership, spend some damn money!! Don't be a bunch of cheapsters. Daniel Theis would've been real helpful last night. Gave him up for jack squat all because of bookkeeping. Can't stand squandering assets like that

I'd think you know better than to put much stock into the regular season series by now. And it's not like we swept them. We went 2-1 against them. One of the wins being decided by a fluke shot. The Bucks would be heavily favored over us in a Playoff series and would probably have to collapse pretty badly to lose.

Come on Joe.
Just stop your ‘absolutely definitive’ predictions of loss.
You have been WRONG 500,000 **** times since 2008 - or at least 10,000 times!
:banghead:

Sure, I acknowledge the inconsistency & incompetence we have seen with our current team.
But we have also seen some great play mixed in.
And we MAY have all of our pieces for the stretch run - so that minutes for our G League & unproductive dregs will rapidly decrease.

The realistic & reasonable approach at this point is to defer a playoff opinion until we see how the final 12 games play out & how well we come together (unintentional double entendre).

Allow yourself to be very cautiously optimistic - or even non-committal.
It feels better!

:D

Agreed.

There's no chance whatsoever that Philly Brooklyn or Milwaukee lose in the first round. If a team finishes as the 6th 7th or 8th seed they're absolutely out in the first round.

We've beaten Milwaukee 2 out of 3 games this season. The first time we beat them we had no Kemba.

The 2nd time we beat them we had no Fournier, no Thompson, no Langford and no Parker. Wagner played 10 minutes that game for crying out loud - and we still beat them by 8..in Milwaukee.

It would be a tough series, we'd be the underdog for sure. But if we have a full squad we at least have a chance to beat Milwaukee. Ya'll acting like there's no way in hell we could beat the Bucks, that's nonsense..

Honestly dudes, Bucks are and always have been kinda frauds. They have Jrue Holiday now so they're better built for the playoffs, but they still have major problems down the stretch of games.

If we don’t get it together right **** now (we will be the 7 seed tonight after the Heat beat the Bulls as we should have 1 week ago - and at risk for the 9 seed as the Hornets & Pacers are right behind our pathetic asses), we well deserve to be the Play In 9 Seed. The 9 seed must win TWO consecutive elimination games first VS the 10 seed & then second VS the loser of the 7 VS 8 seed game - and we easily could & should lose one of those games if we continue our putrid play from the last week. I have never been more disgusted & disappointed w this current team.

I challenge them to win the next 4 games at home this week - not just the pathetic G League Thunder - ALL of them - & change my **** mind!
