Just remember they play 5 games this week with 2 back to backs.

Gonna be a very hard week no matter who they are playing.

This week is gonna be murder. Wouldn't be surprised if Luka sits 1 or 2 games.

Given that his best work was done AFTER that issue, it must be safe to say he is okay.

We do wonder if the Mavs may elect to rest him vs Kings, so they play him vs Warriors?

Exactly.

I'm not a fan of players who can play resting but 5 games in a week is a different story.

No Fox and a Kings B2B I would take the chance and not play him. Also tonight Holmes is expected to return from his hamstring injury and he could also miss tomorrow.

It didn't work well in previous tries. The only win, when they have scored 87 points, OKC basically defeated themselves. Powell, Kleber, DFS...all useless without him, only hope that Brunson and THJ are hot. Easy win, suddenly becomes 50:50 game and there's no guarantee that they will beat Warriors next night.
If he's really hurt, rest him. If he can play, he should play. You still can play him only 20 minutes, if game is that easy.

Get the win vs Sacramento. Lose vs Golden state if you have to, but if you want to make sure you are out of play in win both...

Exactly, if they lose against Kings, all the work they have done against Lakers was for nothing.

They also just lost to the Kings & Rockets with both Luka and KP.

This team is a 6th-7 th seed and no matter what they do they'll have ups and downs regardless of who plays.

Yes, 6th seed means you're losing some winnable games. On the other hand, team who is 33-26 is 1-4 without Luka, all games against bad teams. Small sample size, but the difference is obvious. And you don't need stats to see, what is the problem without Luka. There's no one to run offense. I would rather not risk against Kings.

Unless something catastrophic happens in this Grizz vs Blazers game the Mavs are about to be 2 games clear of the 7 th seed in the loss column.

Prolly should worry more about the Grizz at this point based on schedules

Suns are way too versatile and well rounded for this team, they also have quite strong bench. I am probably crazy, but i would prefer LAC than the Suns lol.

Seems like the Grizzlies are a bigger threat than the Blazers now. Grizzlies playing great lately and the Blazers seemed to have folded their tent early.

Return to Dallas Mavericks
