Maybe next season?

Really think Minnesota is looking at trades this summer (probably pick, Russell sending out) to finally start building something.

Can see them being really interested in Ben, he would fit great with KAT. But Russell alone is not enough off course.

Congratulations Boston!

Losing at home to OKC when they played us the night before

Giannis hurt his ankle. I wonder if he plays against the Nets now. Dammit, they may sweep against the Bucks. Could affect our chances of getting the 1 seed.

Jeez, Kevin Porter Jr dropping a 50 spot on the Bucks. Talk about a glow up.

Was it bad? We need him to play against the Nets.

No idea, but he usually misses a few games with these sort of things.

Rafael Stone could have been the frontrunner for GM of the year if he only did the Ben-Harden deal.

The past week and this week is unwatchable for NBA, guys are just sitting out games left and right.

Everyone is prepping for the playoffs. This should be fun.

And what do I see?

I see that the Bucks can beat the Nets twice at home. We can get #1 if that happens.
My understanding is we’ll have a chance of getting to the NBA Finals ONLY if we get that #1 seed. Otherwise we aren’t beating both Bucks and Nets (without HC in the ECF).

Ladies and gents I’m telling ya the way the game is now played today, and the talent pool to pick from jump on the right horses quick and move swift. Let go off ones that don’t have “it”. It meaning it’s there in spades.
If you believe in the youngin get him asap.
Non All Star players have been going the heck off and will continue to do so in the coming years.
KPJ is a real one. Pick 30 or so too.

In the Draft I’m telling you that’s where the gold is and always be for us. Take Green for example and every year beyond that. Now extending drafts age.
If NBA could ever sign 15yr academy talents then watch the heck out. But for now always aim for BPA in the draft.

I don’t want bit part players, not boom or bust either, prospects that have high NBA qualities to them.

Less size in the 4/5, more length, more mobility,
Sack the slow PF/C for an extra wing. Big Guards that combo off. 25+/7. More space = less psychicality. Lower age demos, so inconsistent up/down play in product.

But it’s so obvious watching it now.

20 is now 25ppg
Big A.I/Harden types school yard ball.

Like Maxey/Milton/Curry/Hill are so far away from what the meta is today.

Yeah not sure what you mean about this. You think he'll rest, or that he won't rest?

Surely Harden ball had a profound effect on this.
Once you have one (less skilled but produce video game results) build around it from there.

Can’t name an undersized guards now that doesn’t have a dynamic push on him, meaning scoring 20+ or dishing 8+ assists and scoring the same. They get flat sticked by a bigger guard/wing.

If your not an elite defensive wing/big (even both get exposed) you’re going to get cooked by pnr/moving screen play/gunslinging threes/carrying to manipulate defense. Too much space, defense is comprised and the rules are set to bend to that player.

It’s a shotcreators/shotmakers dream.

Got the feeling Houston screwed us twice this season

First time by not trading Harden to us and taking much lesser value in return
Second time by not buying out Olynyk, who would have fit incredibly on our team

I think we end up 2nd seed.

If we’re 2nd seed, it’s us who has to face Giannis

Which is why we need to pray for 1st. Having to go through those two teams will not be good.

We’re likely going to end up with the second seed.

It’s our destiny to always face the Celts in the playoffs. We have to accept this fate.
