OKC has been racking up a series of really bad loses. Do they even care at this point?

They are 2-19 over their last 21 games.

I took a quick look at their recent record and found loses to these teams, by these margins:

Nuggets 30
Bulls 21
Hawks 23
Suns 37
Trail Blazers 48
Pistons 24
Cavs 27
Warriors 38
Wizards 20
76ers 31

So, even though we are not having a good season at all, things could be worse. We could be stuck being Thunder fans.

Domas has been mostly playing the 5 on offense anyway

When he and Myles were both on the court at the same time, Myles would frequently scoot over to the corner behind the 3pt line and park himself there, allowing Domas to operate as the 5

But yes, I think a better fitting 4 can only help

In way, having both Myles and Domas can be seen as a little clunky, but it can also be seen giving the team A LOT of flexibiity, in terms of how to proceed with building the team

Both are legitimate building blocks, so they can't really go wrong committing to either one. They can literally flip a coin, and either outcome would be good. Alternatively, they can decide which one to trade based purely on who fetches a better package in return. Or they can simply keep both, it's perfectly acceptable as well

Pritchard has basically been dealt an extremely flexible hand, with multiple viable paths forward. It's really up to him to make the most of it. Not many GMs are afforded this kind of opportunity. They are usually held ransom by the whims and demands of their superstar, are hamstrung by very obvious holes that they have to patch with very little assets to work with, or have a very rigid roster that doesn't give them much room to tinker or make changes. In most of these situations, GMs have their hands tied and are limited with what they can do. Pritchard, otoh, is basically sitting in front of a fairly blank canvas, with plenty of materials to work with. It's a situation that in theory allows his team building skills as a GM to shine, so let's see what he does

Sure, they suck right now, but totally by design!

I think their fans are pretty excited about the future of the team, and they should be. We saw them twice in the last month where they were missing their young star, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, a dynamite young two way guard. Poku and Dort are wonderful young talents to cheer for, too. They also have 11 or more extra 1st round picks coming their way in additional to rights to swap 1sts, and a ton of 2nds. A ton of cap space (or TPE’s) and a GM willing to be super active and push the bounds of deals to advantage their future, and they’ve got a full on tank, focused on the future, that’s got some fun talent to watch.

I'm with you on this one. The addition of LeVert made it clear to me how much help Sabonis needs around him to make us very good defensively with him at the 5. Since then I would be just as happy to keep Turner as Pacer.

Kevin has a lot of options going forward (other coaches added to the mix ), so yeah, he will shine for us this year.
