Westbrook: 14 Points, 24 Assists, 21 Rebounds (13/17/17 vs the Raptors)

Can he finally get the credit he deserves? No one in history has put up 20-20 games like him. The most all-around player the NBA has ever seen.

I used to be a Westbrook hater, but since he joined the Wizards and I got a chance to watch him every night, he has made me a believer.

Yeah, I know he is inefficient with too many missed shots and turnovers, but his relentless energy is infectious. Also, his assists are legit. He's not just driving and kicking for contested jumpers, he feeds the big men for dunks time and time again. He has made Alex Len, Robin Lopez and Daniel Gafford all look like All-Stars.

Wizards are rolling. Initially this summer I thought they would be a top 4-5 team in the East but they turned it on at the right time.

He might be the most underrated playmaker of all time.

This man is a complete beast. Still a top 10 player in the league. Him and Curry silencing the critics have been the stories of the season for me.

Wizards:
19-13 when Russ scores a Triple Double
11-22 when he doesn't

Empty stats though...

Wizards had a pretty tragic start to the season, but they are now 13-3 in their last 16 games, coming into tonight's game, over their last 15 games, Westbrook: 22/13/12 / 53% TS in 37.6 mpg.

Yes, his decision making and efficiency is still not the ideal, but the man is putting in the work, and his team is winning, respect where respect is due!

sure reads to me like pinky was complimenting him not dissing him. Basically saying he's a great player with one "fatal" flaw.

We could say this about a lot of players. If Rudy Gobert scored 22 ppg he'd be an MVP candidate every year. If Draymond could shoot a lick, same thing. If Zach LaVine tried on defense, he'd be all-NBA. And so on.

We can both appreciate Westbrook and acknowledge his flaws, but sadly too many always want to live on the extremes and make it all or nothing.

Westbrook is now officially averaging a triple double over the last five seasons combined.

If he averages around 10.5 rebounds next season, he can average a triple double over a seven year span.
MJ is the GOAT, but LeBron can be if he does 2 of the following:
[X] Win another FMVP
[ ] Win another MVP
[X] 40K/10K/10K career

Nah No contender should touch him, his time with OKC and the Rockets showed the league that he won’t adjust his play to help his team.

The way he plays is very entertaining and statistically impressive, but it doesn’t stack up in the playoffs, we’ve seen it for nearly 15 years now.
