It'll be a tough game for sure. But I'm not counting this team out of any game at this point.

They’re the ones scared.

That’s for damn sure. 12 outta 13 should scare everyone.

I never wanted to get rid of him. I - MEEEEEEE - saw that he was still valuable to this franchise. But no one listens to me. I'm just old man Wingo who's been following the team since 1968.

He was terrible the previous time. Don't paint a rosy picture because he's playing a much more mature role now - and probably is physically stronger.

I don’t even think he was much different the first time around. Things are prettier when you’re winning.

When you look at Thibs track record even his bulls teams when guys got hurt were still really good. We just didn’t expect him to turn us around.

That's fair. I did expect an improvement over time, more realistically next season. What he's done this season is incredible. How he's not the favorite for COTY is insane. He has changed the entire culture and outlook of the franchise. Credit to him, Leon, and WWW for what they've done in such a short time. I love it.

If they can hang on to the 4 spot, I think Thibs will win COTY.

I really hope he wins it. He has earned it. He has his flaws like every coach, but he is a damn good coach.

The Knicks need to go 3-4 including beating Boston in the last game to absolutely guarantee being in the top 6 in the East.

They have good chances at Boston, Spurs and Charlotte. Maybe at the Lakers too, depending on who exactly is in the Lakers line up. But the Suns game shows they aren't totally outclassed against Denver, Suns and Clips. Though I do expect losses in the first and last at least.

This is a great time to be a knicks fan. We haven't had many of these moments over the last 20 or so years...take it in and appreciate it.

i always think about what it means for entertainment. they'll have actors in movies still 50 years after they're dead. a.i.'s will analyze every song from prince or whoever and create new ones that sound like him. crazy.

otoh, Prince left a couple of thousand unreleased tracks when he died.

You're forgetting that the clippers game is an early weekend game and the clippers are awful at those. We're going to win that game.

The last time I remember waiting around all day for the Knicks game to start was 12-13 season. And that had a closing window just due to the age of the roster. This team is younger and hungrier with a better coach, tons of picks, and tons of space.

Monty Williams should not win COY over Thibs having a hall of fame PG and a loaded roster. But they’re going to simply look at the Suns’ record and hand him the award on a silver platter.

Nah, I really doubt that. The media spotlight is so bright on us, the surprise factor so high, and the underdog story so strong that Thibs will be very hard to beat.

Do love me some Monty tho. Once a Knick, all that.

Mmmm-kay. That's possible, and I admit I wasn't really factoring in the tip-off time.

[edit] Maybe I shouldn't have such strong expectations for the Denver game - they are really threadbare in terms of players right now. Austin Rivers is seeing significant bench minutes - and will continue to do so. However, the Jokic-Gordon-MagaP trio is super strong nevertheless.

All the hardware the Knicks should be getting....

Randle MIP

Rose comeback player of the year

Thibs coach of the year......

Rose exec of the year......

Quickley rookie of the year.....
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
