Flynn's been pretty good with minutes. Didn't think it was ROM level perf.
Didn't realize Quickley was avging 12 pts in 19 min. That's pretty good.

That 4th quarter takeover against ATL a few weeks ago was impressive.

Malachi got the minutes and he responded. I'm really surprised by Immanuel Quickley's +/- though. Maybe a lot of garbage time minutes?

Still not sure how the Raps find success with two smaller PG, but stranger things have happened.
I believe in Masai.

Fantastic is a stretch.

He has a solid month, but to be the best rookie for the month is more so his competition sucking than anything else.
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

Great balance of offense and defense. Really happy for the kid, and am pretty amazed that the Raps found a legit floor general at the end of the 1st round.

13-4-5 with minimal turnovers is a great month for a rookie regardless of how the other rookies have done

Just want to add one thing... Flynn's bread and butter is P&R. Right now he's running P&R with OK partners like Birch and Gillespie. Just imagine how much more lethal he'll look if we find a good partner for him.

It was. Was going to post the same thing, but... at least he won it. Means he's played alright I guess.

Great value pickup at 29. I see him already as at least a DJ Augustin type backup. But he shows flashes of being a lot more than that.

Quickley is really having a great season and it is on both ends. 11 PPG with close to 40% on threes, and he is a passable defender because he has a great wingspan and quick hands. Every Knick game I watch he is like a microwave scorer coming in. Probably just as consistent as Hali has been. Considering he is like the only decent rookie on a playoff team (other than LaMelo), his numbers are great.

I would like Flynn paired with Trent Jr. Our sixth best offensive line-up that has played 51 minutes (not a huge number but something to explore) was Flynn/Trent/Boucher/Siakam/OG. Take out one of the starters and add a versatile bench rookie it might similarly effective next year.

Amazing how the core of this team just shifted downwards in a season by 4 good years. OG, Trent, Flynn, and our FRP.

I remember arguing with some of these fools after Malachi played 50-something minutes. Apparently a bust. Will never be a rotation piece. There was a reason he went so late.

Maledon is a combo guard, but paired with another combo guard in SGA works.

I'm happy to get a pure PG since Fred is more combo guard.

I like Malachi, happy for this award. But without Kyle next year I don't want Malachi as the PG paired with Fred. Too much midget backcourt. A much bigger PG alongside FVV would be ideal, with Malachi as a solid backup PG

Fred will likely get 33 mpg so Flynn gets 15 but hopefully over an 82 game schedule, so maybe he starts some of the back to backs. Also maybe a couple overlap minutes or end of game minutes for more ball-handling. That should be good enough to increase the workload.
