As someone who lurks, I swear I thought I was reading the general board. Durant who has a more efficient career turnover%, effective FG%, true shooting% than LeBron is somehow more 'limited offensively' while Kyrie's 7/10 is mediocre.
He shoots better than LeBron, we know that. He doesn't handle the ball nearly as much as LeBron, so he'll have less TOs. I said that when he needs to handle the ball more and create more offense off the dribble for himself and his teammates, he's not nearly as good as LeBron in that aspect, and that's why he's not on LeBron's level.
I don't see how that's even debatable.
This is equivalent as saying Steph Curry is not on Chris Paul's level. Cherry picking a specific aspect of a player's game and try to extrapolate in order to prove a hyperbolic (and hilariously bias) point is peak General Board logic
It's really not, you're just not understanding it.
LMAO, I even said that Durant is a great scorer...but his inability to be a volume ball handler and offensive creator in the half court without becoming incredibly TO-prone IS a big limitation in comparison to other offensive superstars (not just LeBron, but Kawhi, Curry, and Harden as well). He makes up for it with incredible shooting ability, but in comparison to LeBron, it's just not enough. Especially since Durant does get bouts of tunnel vision and isn't a great natural passer either, although he can make some nice reads now and then. It's why LeBron can anchor a great offense basically by himself, as long as he has some role players that can hit shots. Durant needs a high level playmaker next to him that takes a lot of the half court creation and ball handling responsibilities off him.
