I love Simon Jordan. Spot on as usual

Is this the Simon jordan who took Palace into Administration with alleged personal financial problems meaning wages didn't get paid.

Big win for West Ham. 4 pretty easy matches between now and the end of the season. They'll be disappointed if they don't get at least 9 points from them but 12 should be possible if they want CL. 12 would finish them on 70 pts and at least 5th though I'd say 4th and possible 3rd. Chelsea and Leicester have hard ends to the season including a game against each other so both can't get maximum points. Leicester have to play Newcastle, Manu, Chelsea and Spurs. Chelsea have to play Man city, Arsenal, Leicester and Villa. Not forgetting that they both play in the FA Cup final and Chelsea have a CL semi this week.

Spurs finish with Leeds, Wolves, Villa and Leicester. You'd have to believe that they can pick up 9 before they even meet Leicester (and of course they have no cup matches). Liverpool have Saints, West brom , burnley and Palace (plus Manu) surely they can count on at least 12 points to finish the season with a minimum of 66, possible 69.

Man City and ManU seem sure of 1st and 2nd

After that I think Leicester and Chelsea are under sever pressure and one of them won't make the CL.

Leicester 66-71
Wham 67-70
Chelsea 66-70
Pool 66-69
Spurs 65-68

Going to be a very interesting (and anxious) couple of weeks.

Newcastle deserving their 2 goal lead. Poor play in defence and some terrible passes. We can still do it but 3 is a lot without letting one in.

No manager is going to save that Tottenham back 4. That's where ALL their money should be going to this transfer window.

That's why they're charging £60 a ticket for the final game whilst some other teams let their fans in for free.

It's been over for months. Absolute shambles of a season.

I'm so numb to this team that I'm not even bothered by Kane leaving at this point. Reinvest the money in the squad, get the new coach in, and rebuild.

Anybody see that nonsense from Aguero?

Squanders an open goal, then tries a panenka penalty 2 minutes later and puts it right at the keeper. Would be a shame if that's the last thing he does in a City shirt, after what he's given to the club.

Very premature to say, but I can see Chelsea taking the title next season. They're transformed under Tuchel, looking like a juggernaut.

Probably the best course of action. We pretty much regurgitated the ~150M's we got from Hazard into a brand new squad with some needed signings in Werner (he's been good, idc), Havertz, Chilwell and Mendy primarily. You guys could coup that *2 since Son also probably wants the chance to compete for a champions league and Spurs are in that awkward spinning tires phase.

That wouldn't be a surprise we've just managed 1 point against 10 men Southampton and Newcastle. :noway:

We'll probably split. Take your pick, top 4 or the cup.

Though it hasn't been announced, I think that Son is about to sign a new contract so he's probably going to stay.

The main positive that I can take from this season is how well Oliver Skipp is playing during his loan spell at Norwich. You could make a case for him being the best player in the Championship, he's been absolutely bossing it. He can come back and immediately upgrade our central midfield, which is in desperate need of restructuring.

Also, Juan Foyth has been playing fairly well during his loan at Villarreal. It's pretty likely that Villarreal will trigger his option to buy, though, so there's a chance he won't be coming back.

One has to wonder about the championship. KDH has been on loan at Luton and totally torn it up from midfield too. Their pots.
