Trae is a true superstar guard and I think he's gonna finish this season as an unquestioned top 10 player. He sucks on defense and that can be exposed, but offensively he'll be one of the most unstoppable people there are. He's got an elite feel for the game, amazing vision and playmaking ability and is incredibly quick off the dribble and has a top 3 handle in the league. His free throws could stay at around 10 or 11 a game. That and his playmaking are two things that pretty much can't be taken away, and that's not even getting to his elite shotmaking ability from all over the court. Other elite guards besides Harden have serious things that can screw them, or when their shot's not falling they are "barely good" or neutral. Trae's free throw rate and playmaking make it so he can still be great when he's not hitting shots at an efficient clip. He just needs to become an okay defender. He's very quick laterally and north to south but he's got a small frame so idk. He can be an engine of an offense that goes deep into the playoffs. people on here and the media seriously slept on him and the hawks honestly.

Meh, it's just a slump, happens to shooters. Should drive to the rim more when in shooting slumps. Luka is horrid from 3, but still got 46,5% FG coz he takes it to the rim 24\7.

Has been more efficient & perfect @ the free throw line lately.

led the Hawks to the 4th seed in the East with Capela.

He’s going to be a top 10 scorer in this league and a top 3 assist man (if not already now) for a long time. Overshadowed by Luka
He’s a Nash/Lillard hybrid. Small like Nash and with floor skills (Not the passer/shooter but still a serious floor general) but can score like Lillard. 80+ games over 10 assists and 80+ games over 30 already, 28 30/10 games.

He’s a stud.

Curious to see how he'll do. Playoffs are not usually kind to small guards who can't defend.

I had some doubts about Trae's skillset translating to the play-offs but seems like that was unfounded. He's been great so far.

He's made me a believer. His playmaking seems really useful, he's very accurate .

His defense hasn't been the problem I expected it to be in the playoffs altho to be fair New York has a horrible offense specially if Rose is sitting

Trae and Bogdan against Ben and Danny, Thybulle
Collins against Tobias
Capella against Embiid

Great matchups
