Who should the clippers take in this draft with the late first? Beverly and Rondo are both expiring next season

Haha I knew it wasnt going to happen, but a man could dream though right.

I think it was a dumb decision for him. I get going to play for your dad, but Milwaukee is such a bad team. This isnt Cade to OKSU or Simmons to LSU. Ya those schools weren't great but they weren't horrible either.

Milwaukee is one of the worst teams in the Horizon conference. His games wont be televised, no one will care about his stats because it will come against horrible competition and he wont be in the Tourney.

He shouldve just gone to a school where he couldve been the main man but also have a few games on TV and have a chance to get in the Tourney. Or just gone to the G League. Just a waste of a year.

I dunno, but Chet strikes me as someone who plays extremely hard, goes 100% all the time and takes the game seriously... that's an underrated "skill" (for the lack of a better word) to have, IMHO.

Dad is just a selfish dumbass. Can perhaps boost his own career a bit resulting in maaybe maaaybe a few extra million in his next contract, if he even does anything with his son next year, unlikely given how dumpster fire Milwaukee is.

Can potentially cause his son a lot of development opportunity, draft position, and/or future earnings.

It doesn't have to be Duke. Shouldn't have been any blue blood or high tier P5 school.

edit:

This Pat Baldwin actually ain't getting millions. He is making $361,150-ish right now, higher than the chancellor but his raise is gonna not matter if he crashes his son's draft position with his dumbassery.

I know there were some people thinking Banchero might still go to the G League:

Banchero at 4 for me above Suggs and Kuminga and right below Green. Chet it's tough to say. Right now you don't have any assurance that his body would hold up in the NBA. Potential-wise he would be #1 for me. But straight out of high school would be too risky to take ahaed of Cade and Mobley

Not sure why Kuminga's stock should fall respective to those guys' when he was the #1 player in the class and played against pros rather than high schoolers this past year.

That's going to be an incredibly impressive team that finds a way to lose to a less talented team in the Final Four.

He still isn't going to be in the 2022 draft. He'll be on Ignite for two seasons.

Ousmane Dieng coming to my NZ Breakers, very strange for a lottery Euro prospect to come down here.
