The only problem is if we get a good draft position, we then have to worry about KP trading it off for Thad Young or similar.

If we get 13 or better, I think we’d be LESS likely to trade it off. I think that if we sneak into the playoffs and end up the 15th or 16th pick, then we’re probably a little more likely to trade it than if we end up earlier. We traded the 20th for Thad. We traded the 15th for George Hill. But we drafted Myles at 11 and PG at 10… :dontknow:

We need a quality 4. I'll live with whatever KP decides but I'd rather trade the pick than Turner. maybe I shouldn't say that in a vacuum though as I don't know who will be on the board or who will be offered in trade.

It would be good if they had lost say two more games in the last 5. That would have given them a record of 32-40. They would still be the 9th seed and be at the exact same place they are at now. The only difference is they would have boosted their lottery odds by a lot

For comparison, Bulls with a 31-41 record has a 20.3% chance at a top 4 pick. Pacers at 34-38 only has a 4.8% chance

But instead they played key players heavy minutes, and won two extra games, which did nothing except made their pick worse in case they go to the lottery :banghead:

What blows me away about the NBA protocol this year is there’s the chance of false positive tests thus causing a player to miss a couple days when they did nothing to contract the virus ? I’ve seen quite a few cases where players were never sick and returned. It penalized them and their team from having their services on the court. In Caris situation I don’t know if he was stupid enough to go out and get in a crowd of people to get it or what is his deal ? Of course I have had to quit working because of my health for over a year due to the possibility of getting COVID-19 or bringing it home to my wife who already is battling Cancer. Does anyone know if LeVert was negligent or if he followed normal procedures and somehow got Covid ?

Could someone explain to me why I haven't heard a thing about Oshae Brissett through any NBA media source?

Also, his advanced metrics and splits look great in a small sample size. Is he a long-term wing? Can he create with the ball off the dribble or is he more of a 3+D type prospect?

Has someone the legal radio broadcast of the game? I can't find it.

I'm curious who is complementing Mark.

That Sumner buzzer beater to end the first quarter was pretty awesome

I can tell you this much. Brissett was on the Fort Wayne Mad Ants our G league team. Pacers signed him to a 10 day contract cutting another player to sign Brissett. Then he played so well they signed him to a 3 year contract. So really not sure what his game is because he’s so new to the team and NBA level. Seems to have confidence in shooting the 3. Gets a few rebounds and can score 10 points a game.

He was a late season pick up. He played in Toronto last year so our coach knew him. He's our only true 4 and would be the second unit 4 if Turner were healthy. That should be his role next year.

Brissett 10 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists in first half. This guy was in the G league this year ! He’s playing like a regular second teamer. Yeah he’s not a star, but he’s kicking ass since getting his break and new contract. I think he’s been a huge find going forward.

Both him and McConnell have really stepped up their games down the stretch this year. Gonna be hard to let either walk. Please somebody take Jeremy Lamb
