From .600 his rookie year, to .568 his second year and .491 this year. It's not a positive trend, to say the least.

The advantage of having Taj or Noel in the 4th is you don't have to fear them getting to the line.

Mitch is a liability at the line.

broken hand/foot aren't basektball injuries, they're freak injuries.

now if it's hamstring, knees, and back then it's a different story.

True but injuries in general are concerning, specifically foot injuries on big men.

5 last year

Only 66 games before the season shut down

And 2 his rookie year were dnps, so he's missed 19 total out of 146, not including his 2 healthy scratches

Enough to have concerns, not enough to be called injury prone.

I remember another Knicks big man being injured early on in his career. Marcus Camby. It would be a mistake to trade Mitch.

It would have to be a hell of a trade for me to include Mitch. If we can get Jaren Jackson Jr. though I would take the trade off.

After watching Mitch learn to defend without leaving his feet & fouling everything that breaths, I'm not sure I would. Yeah 3J has that 3ball & skill with the ball that Mitch probably never will, but he hasn't learned to defend without fouling yet...and if people are worried by Mitch's durability...

Thanks, so not counting the two DNPs, he's missed 13% of the games he could've played in...that's only 10 games over an 82 game season; which doesn't bother me. If he plays 70 games next season, then his durability shouldn't be a concern IMO.

Ok yep forgot the season was cut short.... and I agree, he's no Greg Oden, he's in the "be mindful" category.

If we make it to the second round, will he be available to play?

He needs to come back with a J.

I'm sure he'll showcase some form of a mid range/3pt in at leastlimited capacity now that he'll have an entire off season with this coaching staff.

I'll keep it a buck tho, I'm more excited about him claiming the DPOY from Gobert. Can't wait to play the hawks so Mitch can punk that clown capela. Thinking he sweet like Noel.... Having no answer for him was even more frustrating than having no answer for trae
