Celtics aren't really good this year, so they aren't exactly a good barometer for how the Nets will fare the remainder of the playoffs. The Bucks and the Sixers will definitely test the Nets, and in the playoffs, all it takes is a tweaked ankle or a more significant injury and the entire landscape changes. Who knows, Kyrie may need some personal time again to reflect on life in the middle of the playoffs.

Thats true but that’s for every team at this point, if anyone loses an important player they are probably done. Brooklyn actually is one team that can maybe handle losing one star believe it or not.
Then yeah Bucks and Sixers will be a lot tougher and should be a better series but I think Brooklyn is a favorite right now to win the East. They’re too powerful.

Cam Payne has been amazing for the Suns. Really disliked him when he was here but it’s cool to see his game has developed
I'm not here to argue.

Fkn guy is trolling us. Gar/Pax definitely called each other to talk about how right they were to trade for him. On the bulls he was a terrible basketball player though, he needed to go to the g league and China to get his sht together.

Both games are pretty exciting. The Mavs/Clips game is all offense all day. Glad to see the Suns battle back against LeBron - and yeah how the heck is it Cam Payne out there hitting daggers! Wow!

Can we start a crowd funding campaign to get enough money to Buy the Mavs off of Mark Cuban and trade Luka to the Bulls?

It is literally the only way I could ever see it happening...

If the Clips lose this series and Kawhi leaves because of it, should the bulls try to get him?

CP3 on the sidelines hurt watching his team in the playoffs. Feels like I've seen this before..

I'll bite my tongue a little and say this through my teeth but all the people saying Kyle Lowry wouldn't have a similar effect on our team as CP3 had on the Suns.......

I think we are seeing the playoff inversion of that at the moment...

CP3 is an all time great no doubt but the dude just becomes a non factor for one reason or another in the playoffs.

Is Kawhi possibly playing his last home game in the Staples Center?

The problem with him has always been health, the same issue with Lowry.

The Clippers role players just suck.

I love Patrick, but man, has he been crap this season. Dodged a massive bullet by not signing him when we had a chance.

I just don't see Kawhi leaving LA. That is where he wanted to be(though Imo he preferred the Lakers, but LeBron....)

If the Clippers don't comeback, they'll retool.

As previously written, the Celts aren't any good. Hell, we beat them two out of three times. Brooklyn will be tested both by Milwaukee and Philly. Yes I would rate them the favorite in each series but I wouldn't put them at more than a 50% chance to make the Finals.

It's home, but he didn't leave a championship team to lose in the 2nd round and then the first round.

Year one is understandable, you're a new team. But you've had a summer to tweak it, and you lose in the 1st round? To the team you just beat in the first round last season? When you were (allegedly) championship contenders both seasons?

I don't know, I wouldn't have guessed it, but a 1st-round loss this season is hard to ignore.

The Clippers...wow. That team is just...I truly don't know what to call them.
Soft, lost, not built for prime time, weak. How the **** do you have 2 star players and fold so damn badly in the playoffs.

The series isn't over yet, but yes, it would be a huge setback for the Clippers to lose in this first round. It wouldn't be good for Kawhi's legacy, either. On the one hand, he has two Finals MVPs and unquestionably dominated in leading his 2019 Raptors to the title. On the other hand, he has never been in the running for a regular-season MVP, and getting bounced in two straight playoffs while leading what has been thought to be a loaded superstar team isn't a very good look.

I mean, of course he's going to in the HOF and all that, just saying that in terms of enhancing his argument for where he stands among the all-time greats, two years worth of load management during the regular season and then getting taken down early in the playoffs wouldn't be helpful.

You're 27 and just led your team to a title while being Finals MVP for the 2nd time. Ascending into the conversation of All-Time greats.

You choose your new team and your new superstar teammate, who was All-NBA in 5 of the previous 7 seasons. Yeah, a second consecutive major playoff disappointment really puts his long-term reputation in a much worse spot than it was two years ago.
