Love easy playoff wins. They don’t come often.

I know we're starved for creators, so this proposal is unlikely, but I do think Shake should focus on being a catch and shoot spacer. Even at SMU, he was a subpar creator. Didn't really envision him operating at the role he is right now. He seems a little overexposed. I'd like to see him focus back on being a role player.

There's nothing wrong with Beal. That team around him sucks. Even as good as Westbrook is at stat filling .. that team around them sucks harddddd

The Wizards roster isn't good, but there is something wrong with Beal. He's not a good enough shotcreator to be a #1 option. He's a pseudo-creator, at best. Any offense with a player like him with as high a usage as he has is dead on arrival. It's like having Eric Gordon as a #1 option.

PPG don't mean jack, it's about how you get those PPG (unassisted vs. assisted). Didn't you learn that lesson with Evan Fournier? Exposed again in the playoffs as a non-creator. Outright role player on Boston. Putting up ppg on a trash offense is meaningless. Especially when you're heavily assisted. Like Beal, like Fournier.

Beal would be nice on our team but there’s absolutely no way that I trade him for Embiid or Simmons so the prospect is probably DOA

I don't like making one dimensional scorers the focal point of a team I have aspirations of winning anything. Scoring gaudy point totals while taking everyone else around you out of the game is losing basketball.

Beal is overrated as hell.

Breakdown his traits

C level creator
C level defender
C+ or B- level passer
B+ or A- level shooter

It's a big pile of meh. Overinflated stats because he's been fed assisted buckets in a bad offense.

Given those overinflated stats, his trade value is ridiculously overpriced.

If I'm giving up a big piece and/or a treasure trove of picks, I need a true bonafide creator that can go get his own buckets.

De'Aaron Fox, Brandon Ingram, etc. Far better players than Bradley Beal.

Milton is now in the Shadow Realm. Maxey has now overtaken him. Thybulle Love ya but please fix the shot over the summer 35% is all you need that’s it.

Thybulle direct comp - Spider-Man lol that’s the best comp I can come up with he’s absurd on defense.

We are deeeeeeeeeeeeep!

44.8% of his buckets inside the arc are assisted! That's trash for a #1 option.

The ace level creators are in the teens. Most allstars are in the 20% and 30% range.

Beal is just not a #1 option. Upjumped shooter being fed assisted buckets. And the Wizards have been a non-threatening offense ever since he's been the man there.

Beal scored more unassisted points per game this year than Evan Fournier's career high in PPG. They're not the same whatsoever. He's a prolific scorer. What he's not is a guy that creates for others at an elite level.

Outside of a top-15 NBA player in return, I'm not trading Thybulle or Maxey.

Unbelievable night by Thybulle. Maxey makes getting to the rim look effortless and is seemingly improving by the minute.

Maxey/Hield/Council
Oubre/Batum/Martin
