I don’t think they’re taking Boston lightly.

This happens pretty often to the team with HCA in the first road game. Now we’re the ones without fans and we need to rise to the occasion.

As others have said, we’re only down 4. Better teams would’ve really smacked us and we’d be down 15+. Given how badly we played in the first half, I’d take being down 4 any day.

This 2nd half needs to reveal what this team is made of. You have the opportunity to show your dominance and cut off all hope for the Celtics. Do it now. Milwaukee sent a message. Will we match the call?

Energy and effort against mediocre teams has been an issue all year. It's annoying / concerning but the Nets haven't adopted that traditional contender going to work take no plays off mentality that we've seen so many eventual champions have in the past...

There have been so many eventual champions that have been waxed in Game 3s against inferior competition.

While we’ve certainly played down to competition throughout the regular season, that’s not what I see here.

KD and Harden have largely come to play. Kyrie and the rest of the role players are struggling. This isn’t unusual in a playoff series at all.

I have to credit the Celtics though. Trapping Kyrie on every touch is a slick chess move. Patience will win out.

He needs to want it. He’s very passive and he’s choosing to be so.

While I’d rather have Kyrie defer if he’s not feeling it, he could at least be a better decoy by playing harder. He looks like he’s going through the motions.

I think we need to start forcing mismatches. However, if they are going to double him, I prefer that he makes the correct basketball play

I don't think his effort level is the problem, he's not looking to bad shots, he's just having a very off night. The shots he has taken are good shots for him, he just hasn't made them. They're trapping a lot as well, so that's a big factor.

This doesn't get said enough for whatever the heck reason, but man... the Beard is just... an off-the-charts intelligent BBIQ player.

Not quite the same package as J-Kidd, but if there's a real successor, he is be it IMO.

Shouldn't that be a flagrant foul on langford?

They’re not hard traps. He could split them if he wanted to. He’s certainly quick enough.
