Will be interesting to see if Morant will continue to go off.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

Round 1, Game 3: Utah Jazz @ Memphis Grizzlies

Post#2 » by TNJazz » Fri May 28, 2021 12:27 pm

Jazzed to get to be at this game! This will be the first PO game I've had the chance to attend since the first year they opened the Delta Center when I bought season tickets, then moved for work. Wife bought me an Ingles jersey, looking to sport that bad boy! How cool would it be to see Joe get into the heads of these guys like he did with Push-off Paul! Living in Nashville area, Memphis is a bit of a drive (4 hours), so don't get much of a chance to see live games, but when I have the atmosphere isn't anything like Utah, much more subdued, so I'm hoping to make some noise for the #1 seed!

GO Jazz!!

I think that Memphis team is going to get tired. Ja played 40 plus minutes last game and will continue to play high minutes. Donovan gets under Brooks' skin and he's in foul trouble again. I think we see some Oni minutes to slow down Morant and Brooks.
Ingles is cooked.

I assume that he'll score quite a bit, but the Jazz will try to limit his efficiency, his FTs and his assists. Jazz would probably like to keep him in the 20s scoringwise.

I'm expecting Mitchell to outplay him for the rest of the series.

I love Ja stepping up and playing what looks like to be at least 44 minutes, that’s some warrior **** but dude is going to tired.

Mitchell needs to wake the **** up and harden up at the same time.

Minutes restriction for an ankle injury, what a joke.

I don't understand why 3 quarter of the game Rudy was NOT involved in offence. Each time they didn't use him against strong opponent it goes in bad direction

I like this Memphis team more every game.

If they didn’t foul shooters they probably win here

Mitchell came through at the end of the game, but he played like crap for 3 quarters...... Ingles played like crap the entire game..... Jazz still won...... That's both encouraging and not encouraging at the same time......

Still waiting to see JC get in a groove one of these games. He hit a couple shots in this one but still not himself. When he gets cooking it is hard for the other team to keep up.

I feel Conley is playing some really good basketball right now. Game 4 will be a battle again, I don't see Memphis ever giving up.

That is unbelievable - Ingles, Clarkson, Niang got 0(zero) rebounds and Inges+Nang 0(zero) FT for total 57 minutes. What the hell?

Ingles looked like he hurt his wrist in an awkward landing in game 2.

Jazz need to do a better job on the boards and continue switching up the defense. Also, lets see the team get hot including the flame thrower. I expect Memphis to come out strong out of the gates and really put some pressure on our defense. I'm expecting them to utilize JV some more and try to get Gobert in foul trouble.

This win was super important.

Some of our guys just don’t look right. Gobert looked tired at times, Ingles is not himself. Clarkson showing up might have been what got us the W.

The Jazz need the rest imo for the next one.

One more, always one more
