He's the answer by far. No one else really comes close. That was worse than ANYTHING Paul George ever did.

Yeah, he's been really bad. People love talking about TS%, he's been .394. If this was a season's performance it would put him up with the all time worst ever. People want to talk about Randall, who generally isn't on Butler's level but even his TS% is better.

I really would like to see Butler on a team with Kyrie just to see how that volatility works out.

Both were players that their teams kept instead of selling high on and using to get significant roster upgrades.

Giannis clamps Jimmy.
It's Randle for me.

lol at having THT in this poll..the dude is a role player and not even 3rd option on Lakers...who would even have ton of expectation on him other than some Lakers fans?

Teams overvalue their young players, at times. But it's not exactly fair to say they've been the most disappointing, because of that reason.

But I see why you've included them in the poll now.

Randle has been awful but i always thought he was an overrated player so not too big a surpise for me.

Bam Adebayo was the most disappointing to me. I expected him to make a jump into the next tier but Bucks made him look like Aron Baynes.

Randle has been better than Butler though, and nobody generally even considers Randle the same level player as Butler.

Randle is playing worse than Jimmy but my expectations for Jimmy were much much higher. Jimmy is generally a good playoff performer. Randle was a big question mark and he was a guy who overachieved this season. Not surprised he dropped off hard. Jimmy was surprising.

But again, Butler is generally considered the better player between the two, and Bam still played better than Butler. Bam at least showed up the last 2 games of the series...Butler was awful throughout.

Gotta be Jimmy Butler. He was supposed to be a superstar after his finals run last year and he was downright horrible in this series.

No one else on this list has the expectations of being a star. Randle is the closest but he's even performed better than Butler even if it's not by much
Most 4th Quarter Points in Final since 1991
1995 Shaquille O'Neal 11.5
2000 Shaquille O'Neal 11.5 (61.1% TS)
2015 Stephen Curry 10.8 (75.1% TS)
1997 Michael Jordan 10.7 (55.1% TS)
1998 Michael Jordan 10.6 (50.6% TS)
2011 Dirk Nowitzki 10.3 (68.0% TS)

Butler was bad, but he was being guarded by Giannis. Bam was worse, he was supposed to be the one who had the mismatch with Lopez, but Lopez made him look like a G-Leaguer. At least Butler wasn't scared of taking shots.

Kemba Walker might be one of the worst player in the league and gets paid 35 million a year just to smile and make things a lot harder for Tatum and Smart.

To go from most improved player. To the worst player in historically in nba playoff history since the shot clock answer. The easier answer is randle.

No excuses for it being his first playoff series. Thousands of other players have had there first series and have breasted or done bad but not this bad.

Look up the stats he really is the worst player ever in the nba.

Dude has bad body language and is not a captain. Straight trash. He’s mailed it in and wants to go home.

If Knicks max him he will play like he is now with no incentive to get better. He’s that type of player that has all the talent but is a mental midget and only plays for his next contract.

I thought he changed this year. There is no denying the talent. But there is also no denying how bad he has been. Now if he played bad and actually out the effort in I wouldn’t be mad but the dudes mind is not in the game and you can see it with indecision, not being in the right place all the time turning the ball over like it’s a hot potato.

I’m sorry but I am so disappointed. If he wants to stay for 17-18 millions a year I’ll do it with the asterisk we sign anther star. Otherwise ship him out for two first.

Kristaps definitely deserves a mention alongside Butler and Randle. Clippers started 5 players 6'8" or below last night. Kristaps is listed at 7'3". That's SEVEN inches on everyone else and he still only grabbed 5 boards in 30 minutes. Beyond embarrassing.

I got to go with Butler the multiple all star over one time all star Randle. I expect more from proven players. Especially in the playoffs.

Butler had higher expectations but Randle's drop in performance from the regular season to the post-season has been even more staggering. I honestly didn't expect much from Kemba and Porzingis to begin with.

Butler's shooting drop off is even more stagering in my opinion. Jimmy Buckets nickname should be changed for this series to Jimmy Airballl...
