Kemba, JB, Smart and Steven's seats just got very warm.Celtics_Champs wrote:I love them both, but I feel bad for any Marcus Smart or Jaylen Brown sickafans. They might be gone now.
No GM is going to come in and trade Tatum. That would be insanity.

Who we looking at as a replacement?
No clue, but it’s not going to be Zarren I’d guess.

These tweets flying in, he’s for sure gone.
Mannix tweet plus the Jazz.... it’s ovah for Ainge. Damn I liked him, but I agree with this.

The jazz make so much sense for Danny tbh a great place for him personally to retire and kick his feet up

Bring in Kenny Smith!!
I am 100 % on with you .
I really believe Kenny would make an excellent GM. Him and Zarren would be brilliant.

Agreed. Zarren sat along side Ainge as all these teams have surpassed us, despite us having way more assets. Need a change.

Let him go to jazz and we can trade him Kemba, FOurnier, Nesmith, Romeo for Mitchell and Gobert. lol.

This is directly tied to what a lot of posters were talking about last night, with regards to surrounding Tatum with a proper team.

Re: Ainge stepping down?
Maybe Danny's stepping down for health reasons, who knows. But if it's true that he might seek opportunities elsewhere, that only means he was told to go.
I really wouldn't be surprised if he's stepping down because he doesn't have the drive anymore. You can see it the past few seasons, he just wasn't the shark that he used to be.
It's too bad though, I really want to see him beat Pat Riley's Heat in the playoffs again. His rivalry with Riley has been one of my favorites lol

Re: Ainge stepping down?
I would hope Kemba would be gone even if Danny weren't leaving. The only question is how big an L we will take with that. Zarren may be too conservative and just try to keep things going for a while, when we really need a bigger shakeup around the Jays.

I said it mostly in jest, but I do think he’s a fantastic basketball mind. When you hear him seriously break down the game, it’s excellent.

Re: Ainge stepping down?
I'd love Masai, but more realistically this will be Mike Zarren. Sucks things didn't go better with Ainge, ran into some **** luck. Probably best to promote Zarren while he's still here before he gets an offer he can't refuse. We need a slight change in approach.
