That's wild.

Speculation it's because of his comments regarding race issues in boston.

Also possible players were not happy with his constant public criticism of them.

What were DA's comments about race in Boston? I missed that

Also I would be so happy if this is true. I've never liked DA and have HATED him since the IT trade, which I think is one the all time sleaziest moves in pro sports history and exposes the irrational fandom of most of this board, where the prevailing argument is DA had to seize the opportunity to trade to for Kyrie but somehow DA was also right to pass on most of the other other stars that came were traded in recent years.

He basically said that in his 26 years with the Celtics, he has never heard a player say they had experienced racism in Boston. Meanwhile, Smart had a story about a fan calling him the N word as he was leaving the game. Lol. Very tone-deaf.

I’d be very surprised if Brad isn’t back.

Lebron also has ties to Boston, being a part-owner of the Red Sox.

We can’t hire Lebron because he’s still under contract with the Lakers.

We could hire Rich Paul though. Lol.

It’s compounded with others issues.

Care to elaborate even indirectly ?

We could trade Kemba for him, promise him the triple role as the Player-GM-Coach.

I’ll let you guys know if I get a call back. I’m pretty happy where I’m at, but am willing to relocate to Boston if need be. Can anyone tell me how y’all treat Filipinos down there?

You'll love it. We have like two small Filipino restaurants here

Danny called me right after the loss to explain some of my analysis in the Covid thread.
I told him many of us on RealGM wanted him and Coach Milquetoast gone.
He told me he would sleep on it.
I did not realize how much influence I had.

Great track record? Like how he had Durant, Harden, and Westbrook and got nothing out of it, then lost all of them for peanuts? No thanks, hard pass on Presti.

Lol. I’m good on that. I know how to cook (seriously, my sister said some of my dishes are better than my mom’s. Lol). I just wanna know if I can walk into a bar without being called a racist term normally used for people of Chinese origins (Sad story - my buddy went to visit Fenway a few years ago and he was called that term because he was wearing an A’s hat)

Jaylen Brown as the 1st GM-player in NBA history. Then he signs both him and Tatum to lifetime contracts with the Cs.
