I think they clearly wanted to tank for Zion. They were bad on purpose that year. They let Fizdale run wild and played Knox major minutes without holding him accountable despite being trash. That's tanking.

Is that a serious team?

As I said before, Mills wants to compete all the time. He was forced to flip mid season b/c yet another Mills product was abysmal.

Do you believe Fizdale when he said that?

I believe he signed with the Knicks knowing the goal was to tank their first year and that he would see his second year after an offseason of significant reinforcements. The goal was Zion, KD and Kyrie, me believes.

I mean other than those two I mentioned they don’t really have a ton of high quality youth other than maybe Robert Williams who a carbon copy of Mitch. I value IQ and Obi hell maybe even Frank more than most of those guys.. Langford and Pritchard are ok I guess. I’ll gladly take 2 first rounders for Kemba tho

if the clippers lose in 6 and blow the team up I would go after kawhi for sure. and then, after he signs with miami, I would absolutely 100% try to trade for PG *ducks*
