In the first 3 seasons, Morris made 4M. Then, he receives a 27M extension offer. He is a reserve. He can always get a serious injury. It's hard to refuse.

Booker is doing at the Staples Center what Kobe and Lebron had done to us for years at MSG.

Who gives a **** about that?

I want to see one of Suns/Nuggs/Mavs/(Jazz) in the finals. These are currently the most exciting teams in the West. (Not necessarily the "objective" best given no injuries, no covid, etc.)

In the East it seems something between Bucks/Nets/76ers. Bucks would be cool. 76ers .. meh ... probably only works if Embust is Emrebust, but a fit again Embiid (I'm sceptical that's possible, but .. for the sake of imagination) against any of those four would be a great series too.

**** the Nets, ldo.

Let's recapitulate. He turned down 84m/4y in order to sign for something significantly better, possibly/probably with the Lakers. I don't think it was a conflict with the Lakers thing and 84m/4y was the maximum the Lakers could offer as an *in season* extension.

It surely will be very interesting to see how much he gets offered in the off season by the Knicks

even reserves in today's game get $, esp. the one's from playoff teams. sure, there's an inherent injury risk, but he could've gotten more $ and a better opportunity (starting) by waiting

Morris has been an impressive pro. shoots efficiently and has a great AST/TO ratio

I don't think he got another offer. Or teams knew Denver would match so they didn't try and offer him one. He's one of my favorite players in the league. I would take him over a lot of people. He's a really underrated finisher at the rim, a really good 3 point shooter, makes zero mistakes, he controls the pace of the game beautifully, smart af out there, an underrated passer and play maker, solid defensively. I guess you can knock his size but he plays big. Once Denver unlocks the Murray/Morris starting back court they'll have a real shot at winning one.

How much should the Knicks pay Reggie Bullock? More than 27/3?

To be fair I remember checking the Suns board back then and the Booker vs KP poll was actually close.

Booker such a killer fam as much as I am grateful for what our guys have done this season I really envy the Suns’ roster.

There arent very much cap-spaced teams this offseason. A good amount of cap-spaced teams might not be too interested in another small PG (Spurs, Hawks, Cavs, Raptors, Memphis). A lot of teams are tanking teams that may frustrate Monte (OKC, Houston, Detroit). I doubt he would be paid more than 13M/y.
