i cant believe how invisible he was when he was in the game. played good positional defence when they were in the zone, sure, but man at some point you have to have that killer instinct to try to take over and will your team to victory. absolutely awful number two.

He's not physically strong enough to shoot while being shoved, which is what the Clippers are getting away with, and as a result he's a wasted option.

Overall Dallas constructed their team poorly. They have no one that's done anything at all in the NBA of significance, and as a result all these guys defer to Luka. He's too immature at this stage of his career, as evidence spending the first half going after Ken Mauer for no calls at home in a closeout game and taking dumb fouls. I've seen this story over and over in the sports. He's not supported, and at the same time it's not like Dallas has built a team of the future around him.

Agreed... Porzingis was invisible. They need to get some production from him to make it easier for Doncic
Prediction
Spurs in 7. Parker MVP. Lebron 6-17fg, 18pt, 8reb, 5 asst in game 7 LOSS.
The Heat will choke!

31.7 MPG, 4.5 RPG, 0.8 BPG

These are stats of your 7'3 center who's also supposed to be the 2nd banana.

I can't help but root for Kawhi. When he gets on fire like last night it just reminds me of our run and I feel all nostalgic.

Me too but it's a dichotomy. I want Kawhi to score 50 points in a loss.

its amazing how the narrative changes based on results

during the offseason everyone was saying the lakers GOT BETTER than last year when they won the chip
now they aren't a good team at all? lmao

not really, thr team has always been those 2. yall are delusional if you tihnk suns beat a healthy AD/Lebron lol

Well that's disappointing. The mavs have very few actual "basketball" players. Too many limited skillsets on that roster.

Take Luka off that team and they are probably bottom 5. He's probably the REAL mvp in terms of what would happen in his absence.

Valiant effort by Luka but if you have only couple players from your team show up to play vs the Clips it’s hard to win the series.

Doncic is no doubt superstar but Dallas need to re-evaluate their team and front office hard

I don't want to see anymore Luka > Kawhi talk. Kawhi gets hate from Raps, Spurs, and Lakers fans, but the dude is a still a bona fide top-5 player.

Actually, the series proves both are top 5 players. You switch players and the outcome would be the same.

It's a miracle the Mavs made the playoffs and took a way more talented Clippers team to 7 with that garbage roster they have. Without Doncic they are a 20-win team. This whole series I was thinking if the Mavs had just 1 lights out shooter next to Luka they'd be a final contender. Luka can score at will even when attracting all of the opposition's attention. People talk about LeBron having no help, well what the heck does Luka have? It was 1 on 5 every time the Mavs had the ball.

Mavs lost cause of D though. All it took to get an open perimeter shot was 2 or 3 passes for the Clippers. Most of the Mavs players don't hustle to rotate and close out the shooter. Luka actually is really bad at just standing 6 feet away from the player with the ball and giving up on running at him and just watches the shot go up.
