Pascal and second round pick for Ingram.

Yeah, Ingram would be a great fit WITH OG and Siakam, but it seems more likely OG will become a A- offensive player then Ingram will become even a B+ defensive player.
Where's the D?

That's just insane. Isn't Hood expiring? Can't we eat the second year of Baynes contract. Seems we're giving up a first to dump a player we can dump for free anyway and one with just a year left. You don't trade a first for that.

I am not saying OG is Kawhi, but OG has Kawhi's calm demeanor. Nothing rattles him. That's an important trait I am wary of giving up especially if you have to add a top 8 first pick with him.

Again, another wise post. Would recommend people study how Mr. Bball can say so much with so few words.

I love OG but I'd do it minus the picks. That's some stupidity since OGs value isn't that low and Boucher for Adams is doing them a favor.

There must be some advanced metrics that show it but Ingram just doesn’t seem like a winning player. He’s somewhat of a black hole on offense and his defense is mediocre.

OG and boucher, is understood

but 2 picks including a lottery pick in a strong draft, is a bad idea

So you think it's a waste of time to build around Luka, Trae, Harden, Curry?

None of these guys play any defense.

With that type of haul, we should get a top 5-10 player.

Great offense, but it hasn't resulted in wins. It's a lot for a guy that isn't a proven #1 option.

False.

Except for Trae.

Would do Pascal for Ingram.

I think OG can slide into the 4 spot nicely. Ingram spaces the floor well enough to work. OG's defensive upside is just too much to give up, along with his offensive efficiency he just seems untouchable.

Then again, is a Trent/Ingram wing duo too much of a defensive liability? FVV/Trent/Ingram/OG gives us 4 starters that can hit the 3 at a 38% + mark.

But I do fear this is a trade that doesn't make either team better. Maybe even makes NO worse.

Of course you would say that.

Anyways, I guess the Hawks should have just traded away Trae, since it's absolutely a waste of time tryng to build around him.

The Warriors should have traded Curry a long time ago since they've had to hide him on defense all these years.

OG+ Boucher+Hood+baynes+2 picks

For ingram+ Steven Adams

It solves shot creator and Center weaknesses...but steep ask.

Who says no?

List the full deal:

Toronto Raptors Receive: SF Brandon Ingram, C Steven Adams

New Orleans Pelicans Receive: SF OG Anunoby, C Chris Boucher, SG Rodney Hood, C Aron Baynes, 2021 first-round pick, 2023 first-round pick (top-five protected)
----------------------
I understand what people see in Ingram, but hell no, he's not a player you mortgage two 1st rounders for AND trade a 23rd old all-NBA defender who shoots efficiently.

And if Ingram is found to have clots again, his career will end like Bosh. No thank you.

Siakam doesn't really work with Zion though. Unless you're playing small and one of those guys is your C.

I'll make a not so bold prediction and say there will be at least 5 players this draft class that will exceed Ingram before their rookie contract is up.

**** like this is precisely why our championship run is seen as a fluke with Kawhi dragging a team of dead beats across the finish line. Don't watch any games and form their opinion based on garbage like this.
