Porzingis would be half the asking price. Maybe less.

I think OG can slide into the 4 spot nicely. Ingram spaces the floor well enough to work. OG's defensive upside is just too much to give up, along with his offensive efficiency he just seems untouchable.

Then again, is a Trent/Ingram wing duo too much of a defensive liability? FVV/Trent/Ingram/OG gives us 4 starters that can hit the 3 at a 38% + mark.

But I do fear this is a trade that doesn't make either team better. Maybe even makes NO worse.
Siakam doesn't really work with Zion though. Unless you're playing small and one of those guys is your C.

Yeah. Even with Zion at the 5, it still doesn't really work.

 Ingram is such a low IQ player, I don't care how talented he is, but this guy is dumb as a bag of rocks. If you think Siakam has low IQ compare to Ingram he's Albert Einstein.

I've said this before but I think there's a deal to be had between NOLA and Toronto.

Ball, Bledsoe, picks for Vanvleet and Baynes.

NOLA's biggest need is at PG and there's a real chance they could lose Ball this summer. Bledsoe is declining. This move gives them a win now guard who can defend, shoot and a proven winner in his prime locked up on a solid deal with term. Plus, they get to offload Bledsoe.

For Toronto, this is a look to the future. The team as is isn't good enough to win and we're in danger of being capped out and mediocre. Here, we start over with a 23 year old Ball who can do a little of everything. We take on Bledsoe and will get compensated with picks

Griffin can go fleece somebody else. And he should be using Ingram and picks to get a player better than Ingram, a superstar to play with Zion. What are you going to do with more picks, David. What did we learn from Danny Ainge.

Lol..ain't happening.. OG is just going to explode next season.. BI is nice... But not for OG.. maybe Pascal for BI could work.. I just don't see it happening.. Pelicans need a guy like Ingram who can shoot . They also need a center who can shoot and rebound .. I think they will go after a center who can shoot the 3..not OG..

We need a nice shooting guard.. still not seen enough of Gary Trent to see him as a starter.. Beal would look so nice on different rosters...especially the Raps.. one can only imagine..

Freddy
Beal
OG
Pascal
Insert Ibaka in here if possible

OG+ Boucher+Hood+baynes+2 picks

For ingram+ Steven Adams

It solves shot creator and Center weaknesses...but steep ask.

Who says no?
No idea what NOP says but Raptors definitely say NO! That's a Bradley Beal package, not a Brandon Ingram. Wouldn't do it for Beal either.

Ingram put up the numbers as one of NO's top 2 scoring options. Given the same opportunity this season, primarily late in the season, OG also was putting up nice offensive numbers. And his defense is on a different level than Ingram. I see more potential to develop offense in OG while I think Ingram may be at or near his peak.
Each player also fits with his lineup better right now. Both are 6'7" and the same age but there's literally a 40lb difference in their bodies. Ingram is slight and benefits playing with a bigger, physical PF like Williamson. OG is more physical and versatile which helps the Raps with Siakam being a less physical, lean PF.
Certainly based on how the "deal" is described, it's a non-starter.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

Bro fire whoever proposed that dumb ass idea

I'd do OG + Boucher + 2022 first round pick (top 10 protected) for Ingram + Adams

Ingram is a guy that can create his own shot and we need a guy like that in the playoffs.
He's only 23 and is loaded with potential. I can see him being a top 15 player in a couple years.

So you think it's a waste of time to build around Luka, Trae, Harden, Curry?

None of these guys play any defense.

False.

Except for Trae.

Of course you would say that.

Anyways, I guess the Hawks should have just traded away Trae, since it's absolutely a waste of time tryng to build around him.

The Warriors should have traded Curry a long time ago since they've had to hide him on defense all these years.

Yes of course I would say that.

Dbpm Career

Harden +0.9
Doncic +0.6
Curry +0.3
Ingram -0.9
Trae -2.3

OG is a much better player than Ingram. There’s more to life than scoring.
not strong, only aggresive cuz the power ain't directed/ that's why, we are subjected to the will of the oppressive

This is what a lot of people forget. The Raptors have waited their entire franchise existence for someone like OG - a strong 2-way wing who could defend the other team's offensive 3-4s. I remember once when Casey had to put Amir on KD - we just didn't have anyone else!

Spoiler:
It, uh, didn't work.

Garbojosa was decent, but got hurt. Good Joey was pretty good, but couldn't hit 3s. Bad Joey cancelled out Good Joey. DeMarre Carroll was hurt from the time he got here, and was never again the player he was on the Hawks. And then there was Kawhi. Oh well.

But yes, we need more OGs, not less. Bringing in Stanley Johnson was a well-intentioned effort to have a replacement for when OG was hurt or in foul trouble or whatever. Didn't work. Yuta actually gives us a bit of that, although he doesn't have the sheer physicality. I wonder if he can get stronger this summer, without bulking up and slowing himself down?
