Great game so far. Total Denver homer here but it's a pleasure to watch Booker at work. Ice in his veins, that one.

And I confess I thought Millsap was washed at least a year ago, but he's making a steady contribution. Moves efficiently, knows his role, knows his limitations, and uses his strength.

Denver's bench was one of their weakest parts this season. It was a combination of injury/inconsistency but they're stepping up so far in the playoffs.

Wish Murray were healthy. Still a fun matchup. Both teams developed their core mostly from the draft. Chris Paul and Aaron Gordon were key outside additions. Neither town is a free agent destination for mercenaries. Both teams involve everyone, know their roles and utilize their weapons. The top playmakers Paul and Jokic are high IQ. This is smart team basketball and there's a ton of skill out there as well.

Is everyone seeing how horrible a defensive player MPJ is? It's comical. He completely loses track of his man in the corner, then just vacates that side of the court on a half-hearted flyby past Devin Booker and then watches his team play 4 on 5 the rest of the possession. If this guy was on a team that prided itself on defense he wouldn't see a minute of play.

This whole ‘let Jokic get his’ strategy will collapse in any game Ayton gets in foul trouble. Portland pulled off the strategy for 1 game. Ayton is better than Nurkic but he be in foul trouble in a few of these games.
