Ainge was focused on the Hayward situation.

There was no move to be made until Hayward made his decision.

Seth Curry became a Sixer days before Hayward decided to leave Boston.

Hayward screwed us a bit lol.

True.

But you really can't blame Hayward because the offer was just too good!

The bad news is it could end up as a stupid move for Michael Jordan.

And so far, the gamble has not paid off as Hayward was once again absent for the postseason this season.

It was the fan aggregate vote. Guess that system doesn't work too well lol.

Big lesson. Stay the hell away from injury prone players. AD, Hayward, Kemba. Even guys like Timelord. You could underatand older guys, but young guys already injured a lot. Major red flag!

I didn't watch the game, but Utah won even though Ingles was 1 for 8 from beyond the arc.

Is KD playing at a level of GOAT? I know Nets are a super team but the way they are neutralizing Bucks offense is startling. KD is the only guy out of their starting 5 who plays defense. That he can will the Nets into a stout defensive team while playing at a dominant level on offense that would make MJ envious is special. We know what Kyrie is and Harden is out and yet the Nets are obliterating the Bucks.

KD joined a 70 win GS team and was far and away the best player on the team. It’s crazy how good he is now given his injury and time off. Definitely the best player in NBA right now and maybe playing at the highest level I’ve seen. Best scorer I’ve ever seen. Kobe never sniffed this level of play. I think KD could make every team in NBA a contender. Only caveat is that he can’t play 82 games.

He's so, so, crazy good. Nets have paid him $76M for 35 regular season games over 2 years and it was totally worth it.

Yeah but imagine if we gave him that contract and he was yet again injured for the playoffs. Ainge would have been run out of Boston even faster than he was.

I'm old enough to remember people here saying he wasn't worth the contract.
I apologize for the things I have said in the past.

I like Hayward but not for that kind of money. Same thing with what happened with horford. They got their contract, good for them. At least we avoided disaster. Now we have to avoid injury prone players. I’m taking a good look at Timelord.

Suns with awesome defense. Not over helping, but they are everywhere disrupting. Crowder is one tough 3 and D guy. Plus it helps they have CP3 and Ayton to man the middle. Bridges and Payne are fast and pesky defenders as well.

Watch Chris Paul play PG and then watch Kemba Walker......ugh. I'm so jealous.

Cp3’s face is all serious, while Kemba all smiling while losing! Unbearable!

Kyrie vs. C. Paul would be something.
