If anyone else on the TNT broadcast gives their top 5 for this, I highly doubt there wouldn't be some controversial placement to discuss. Shaq's probably might not even have Luka on it

As of right now, I’d put Donovan over him

zion just had one of the most scoring seasons ever, but it still looks sketchy. i gotta see it in a 7 game series.

Yeah I gotta see it translate to wins and need to see how he performs in a playoff series. Till then I don’t have him in my top 5

I said nba size and length would bother him coming into the league and then he just started running them over, so who knows, we've never seen anything even closely resembling zion. bigger than bron, more athletic than barkley, more skilled than giannis.

If that the standard we're going to hold people to? Guys on a comedy show you are there to get laughs and not talk basketball? That said I'd expect a good list from EJ and Kenny.

I wouldn't put Zion over Booker, Young & Mitchell. Once upon a time Ben Simmons got the next LBJ claim, but now seems like he would be the new and improve Draymond Green (no shame in that). Ranking Zion at 3 based on projection isn't fair to Mitchell, Booker and & Young, all of whom are dominating in the regular season (translating to wins) and postseason (when it matters).

He already has more 45+ point playoff games than Curry, Lillard, Harden, Shaq, Kareem and Barkley.

And his playoff BPM for the last 2 years is elite (Durant/Harden/Curry level).

I'd put SGA in the list but I'm a massive homer and of course when he hasn't played in a while he isn't fresh in people's minds.

I dunno who to swap for its tough but Mitchell has to be in there 100%.

I'd take Donovan over Trae. Otherwise, I can't argue with that list.

Top 4 should no doubt include Luka, Tatum, Booker and Mitchell. The fifth can be a few guys, but those 4 are indisputable.

Trae has been great in the playoffs. I may even remove Zion or Booker over him. Booker had a great 47 point game but overall he's been worse than Trae in the playoffs. True Booker was against tougher competition but can't say the Lakers played great defense ever since AD went down.

Ayton will be top 5 eventually. He’s a late bloomer.

Mitchell in over Trae and probably Zion currently. So much young talent in the league right now, it's awesome.
