I’m probably in the minority that still believes in Kemba somewhat.

After watching some KP highlights on YouTube I've come to the conclusion that he is the GOAT and I need the trade lol

That bleacher report has a point because it says that trade only happens if Dame wants out.

Who gives a ****....if he wants out he’s still locked up for 4 years. It’s not like he can leverage his way anywhere- and if he could you’re not getting him for kemba Walker bro. Just face reality.

U want a superstar in return? it’s costing brown unless they have a year left and demand out which isn’t the case here at all

So, a guy with 2 years left on his deal, not showing up to camp, threatening to sit out, showing up out of shape and playing like **** on purpose while only being interested for sure in Brooklyn....

Is the same as a guy with 4 years left on his deal, never been a head ache, never been high maintenance and always had good chemistry is the same value?. No. Not at all

Kemba's a very good player.

The problem is he's just not a good fit with the Celts.

Maybe first 11th seed if the NBA changes the rules again for a play-in tournament.

Anyone bring up a Chris Paul S&T? If you can get him to leave Phoenix they might be willing to help facilitate and take Kemba in the process.

At the moment I would think Monty Williams, Booker, Bridges and Ayton is more appealing than what the Celtics can offer him.

Golden State is the 2nd most likely destination for KP.

A Kemba to DAL, KP to GSW and Wiggins to BOS seems like the best Kemba deal.

This is the best Kemba (wont happen) trade IMO. Wiggins went from overrated to underated IMO. But why wouldn't Dallas just trde KP to GS and get Wiggins who is cheaper and better than Kemba?

we would add in an incentive.

IMO Grant Williams would be a good add to the deal

Nobody's arguing Al is better than KP. Just that with injuries and contracts involved, I'd much prefer Al, personally,

Horford for Kemba is a safe move.

But it might cost the Celts a 1st round pick.

KP on the other hand is cheaper than Kemba in 2022 and 2023 because KP is getting less money than Kemba in 2022 and 2023.

In fact, Celts save a total of 8.2m in 2022 and 2023 if they swap Kemba for KP.

The downside is KP still has 36m for 2024.

Trading kemba for Horford AND giving a pick is a dumb move.

I was thinking that the other day,

With a promise of a front office or a role in coaching when his contract is over, I can absolutely see Paul being interested in being here.

Tatum is superior to anything that is on the suns
And, imo, Brown is superior to anything on the suns as well.

Kemba and Grant Williams to the Mavs

Zinger to the Kings

Hield and Delon Wright to Chicago

White and Young to Boston

White/Pritchard
Smart/Fournier/Romeo
Brown/Nesmith
Tatum/Young/Parker
Timelord/Thompson/Kornet

I love that right now. Not if more is needed and where to though

Why would Paul be enticed by an unenforceable promise of a "role in coaching" when literally every team in the league would hire him the moment he decided he felt like coaching.

Anyone bring up trading for LeBron? Cuz its just as likely as Chris Paul leaving the Suns for the Celtics via S&T for Kemba.

Harden had less than 2 years left when he was traded, publicly quit on the team and then said everyone on his team sucked in a press conference.

A S&T hard caps the receiving team at the tax apron, which will be around $142 mil. The Celtics, right now, are looking at $134 mil. for 12 players before any moves are made.
Chris Paul is looking for 3/100 so a S&T for Paul will require the Celtics drop a bunch of salary elsewhere.
