Why no Mann or Rondo? Match up issues? Felt like they could have been really helpful tonight.

Beverly had some nice steals but he clanked everything and took a couple of awful shots.

Clippers missed 6 WIDE open consecutive 3's. They got shots from the ball movement and guys didn't hit them. That's the game right there

At least we didn’t lose by 20.
At least Mitchell didn’t get 40.
At least Zub aint foul out.
At least Morris aint 1/15 from 3 this series.

Positive positive positive.
If not, you suck as a fan.

In a sense, yes and in another no. Clippers did win the second half, but they started it down 13. Morris making 2/5 three's changes the game, but another 1/many or 0/ night for him.

Still can't hit wide, wide open threes late in the games this series. Absolutely maddening after that run in the second half.

Game was lost closing out the 2nd quarter, which is a norm for this team.
Plus, why would I want to go to the NBA? Duke players suck in the pros.

Insane that Mann hasn't played in this series. I thought he earned it after his play in the last series.

Yup, if they were getting stifled and couldn't create anything or if they didn't get stops, okay. But they got stops, they created open shots, but Utah did a better job making them down the stretch while the Clippers bricked open looks.

If we want to win we have to play smarter, these minutes of mental lapses can not happen. It's a miracle we only only lost by 3 and 6 with how dumb we play sometimes. Kawhi and PG need to step up the whole game.

Morris needs to be benched for Mann or Kennard. Missing 3's, mental lapses on D, hasn't overall been effective outside of game 7

Not even going to get mad anymore that was disgraceful. I don’t know how Mook gets so many minutes not hitting shots and Kennard only gets one attempt

I’m playing hall monitor.

Keeping the forum as positive as everybody wants it to be (I think).

Problem?

PG may have accidenally had the game changing play of the series; running into Mitchell.

Mitchell did something earlier in the game, but is looked like he re-aggravated his injury when he ran into PG.

May not keep him out of the series, but could impact his driving.

Like I've said, once Utah doesn't hit their 3's, they're toast because that's their only offense. And even if Conley comes back, a hamstring injury isn't a minor injury and wouldn't come back looking like himself. Clippers win at home, I believe they can go into Utah and take 5 because Utah isn't doing anything extraordinary right now that the Clippers can't overcome

Meh.

Marcus Morris is a playoff fraud.
More than enough evidence for us to know he’s not going to shoot with any kind of consistency and be around his normal non playoff averages.

So...
For him to be missing those? It’s in line with how he always performs unless it’s a Game 7.

We got outplayed.

Though Kawhi would bring us home in the end. He's gotta go for 30 in this series. PG, bad shooting yet again but still did his part with 27 pt,10 reb, and 6 assists. Its the rotations. I have no clue what's going on. No Rondo at all. One minute for Mann. Boogie not seeing anymore action I got. Reggie stepped up big time. Pat Bev fought and showed some heart. Morris was really bad. We need that elite scorer badly.

- Incompetent front office
- Terrible coach
- Kawhi appears to be checked out (seriously, where has he been all series?)
- PG is a disaster in the playoffs as usual
- The rest of the team is full of defensive liabilities and supposedly "elite" three-point shooters who can't make open threes in the playoffs
- Basically no draft picks for the foreseeable future

I don't know where Ballmer even begins to clean up this mess in the offseason.

Morris is really making it tough for the team. Dude can't have these multiple game 3PT shooting droughts. His shooting alone changes both games, this is similar to what happened vs Dallas. .

He has just not proven reliable, quite surprising. Proven he can shoot at home and get very hot, but 1/14 in the two games is a hard pill.
