Can a healthy Jazz team beat the Eastern Conference Champions?

Post#1 » by Cabbage bulls » Fri Jun 11, 2021 4:53 am

Jazz look pretty damn good, even without Conley. Assuming they win the Clippers series (likely) and then take down the Suns (should be a good series), can you see them taking the East winners? I'm guessing it will he the Nets, but who knows.

A healthy Nets team would be a tough opponent. The Jazz have a really good defense though.

I think they can beat any Eastern Conference team other than Nets...I just don't see any team beating this healthy Nets team

if cp3 is healthy, phoenix will be tough. i think they can beat every team in the east except for the nets. especially if harden is back, he'll cook gobert on the pnr

I don't think anyone can beat the Nets.

Sure. The Jazz have been dominant throughout the season. They were a damn near 60-win team (52 wins in 72 games translates to 59.2 wins in a 82-game season).

Nobody's beating the Nets except for injuries.

People are underrating Utah imo. They have elite offensive and defensive talent.

Anything can happen but it'd be a lot easier if it wasn't the Nets.

The 76ers in particular would be a cakewalk for them. The Bucks may not be much tougher than that as Gobert is an ideal counter for both and the refs will swallow their whistle in the Finals if the Jazz make it for him since he'll be one of the faces of the team.

But we still don't know how Durant and Irving can mentally hold up if they actually felt pressure in the playoffs. They could collapse in game. Harden also has an entire career of choking in game 6 and 7s when something is actually on the line for him.

Is the eastern conference champs the Nets? If so, then no. Maybe they can politely ask Harden or Durrant to sit the series out so it can be competitive and give them a more fair chance to win.

the Nets are the clear favorite, but the title is going to just come down to whatever team is the most healthy really. Every team has an injury issue. Conley(Jazz), Suns(CP3), Nuggets(Murray), Sixers(Embiid), Nets(Harden). Seems like Conley is the least suspect of these so if the Jazz are the healthiest out of these it could happen.

Anything could happen. I would bet the field against the Nets at this point. Suns in particular seem poised to win the title this year IMO

ill be rooting for them, but I don't see it. The Jazz will have to play perfect and the Nets have to play average. if they both play at their best, the Nets win by a decent margin.

I need to see the Suns beat a healthy team before seeing if they are championship material. If they beat the winner of the WCF, then all bets are off.

Mitchell gets shut down every time he plays the Sixers. Highly doubt that would be a cakewalk unless Simmons isn't playing.

The Suns seem to be the team that could take the nets to 7 in the west.
