Wow I just read about how he was murdered and essentially disappeared. Thats crazy.

So many people who attain the heights of power in this culture—celebrities, for instance—have to make a show of false humility and modesty, as if they got as far as they did by accident and not by ego or ambition.

Well, he only played a career 24.2min a game, so theoretically he could transform into a bison and only play .2 minutes as a herbivore, or he could transform into a bison and play 24 of his 24.2 min as a herbivore, which I think you have to admit would produce a radically different result.

I suppose the first step would be determining the expected impact of bovinehood on one's statistical output.

Seriously however, he was a talented 4/5 guy who even the Bulls memorably picked up just to give them one playoff run. Maybe only an above average starter that would have been a better PF in the era than C, but a great bench 4/5 if that was the role. Lot of skills, when he cared enough. But while the whole being murdered thing will really mess with your stats, Bison (as the name might indicate -- birth name Brian Williams) was off somehow mentally, and that was what really messed with his career. Just a really odd dude. The murder was just a capper -- not expected, but it would have shocked nobody if he had just disappeared on his boat one day and been found 30years later living alone on some deserted island talking to a volleyball.

For those that don't remember, this was formally Brian Williams, who won a ring as a pretty handy role player with MJ and the Bulls.

But yes, a terrible story about how he was killed.

Yes, crazy story, I used it as the background for one of my World of Darkness characters.

I was reading up on him not too long. I'll always remember him as Brian Williams on the Bulls. I'm pretty sure I bought a pack of basketball cards when I was younger and pulled a Bison Dele and thought to myself "That looks just like Brian Williams" Not knowing he had changed his name.

I don't think he ever lived up to his full potential due to lack of passion. I think he was one of those lost souls who was always searching for more and basketball was never his entire life.

I would like to think he faked his death and is living on an island in complete peace.

I remember he signed a massive contract with the Pistons after his Bulls stint - 7 years $50 million. Grant Hill's contract at that time was 8 years $45 million.

He retired after the lockout, just 2 years into his contract, leaving $36 million on the table.

Twice he tried to open the emergency exit hatch on the team plane while in the air - once with the Bulls and again with the Pistons.

Idk why people think that it's funny to make joke threads about someone who was killed. You wouldn't make them if it hit your family. **** isn't funny at all

No one is making fun of the fact that he was killed though, right? It's a joke thread about how he changed his name to Bison, which is also a large even-toed animal which holds the distinction of being the largest land dwelling mammal in North America.

It would be like if someone made a thread about if the Lakers would have still won 5 championships if Kobe Bryant turned into a very particular variety of Wagyu beef for 1 quarter a game in the finals. It wouldn't be making fun of Kobe Bryant's death, it would just give us a question to ponder - or food for thought if you will.

Only if he plays as a Deli for the remaining half. One half, he's the Bison, goring people on the fast break, the next, he is pastrami, getting sandwiched between two white dudes.

Does he still have hooves? Is he able to grip the ball?

I need to understand if the bison transformation is actually a benefit or hinderance?
