Is the second round of the play-offs really the time to kneecap your rotation just to teach a young player a lesson?

Yes Mann is still learning and making mistakes but Pat Bev played 21 minutes over him tonight and made a mistake every single time he touched the ball. Beverly is terrible at this point in his career. He should not be getting minutes in playoff games. Despite Mann not being experienced he's still way better than whatever Beverly is supposed to be.

Meanwhile Beverley shoots 0-5 in 20 minutes and is 0-8 in the series replacing Mann.

The Clips are now 2-5 when Pat sees the floor, 2-0 when he’s benched.

Ty Lue is infatuated with Pat Bev. Probably because he's a "tough nosed veteran" and some coaches just fall so hard for those kind of guys. The problem is he isn't good enough at basketball to be seeing the floor in the playoffs.

Ty Lue should put himself out of the rotation. Pat Beverly is garbage. I can't believe he's on any team that has championship hopes. If he played for the raptors, I don't think he would even be in the rotation, and they didn't even make the playoffs.

Ty Lue has gotten a lot better since his stint in Cleveland. Part of me wonders if Billups has really played a key role, or if he is just being talked up so he can secure a head coaching job. Seems like he will be hired by another team for sure, and is the likely domino teams are waiting to fall before they decide on their guy.
